Sad they didn't have everything I wanted

I had a big list of items to get with my online earnings. They didn't have my apple corer, rolling pin, or colander at the dollar store. I did find most of the other things such as can opener, cheese grater, even cooking utensils which I will go back for next cashout.
I saw them at Walmart, and will save up to buy them there. I even saw a red apple corer. My place wont match seeing as my cooking utensils are red, and black, my plate set is blue, and my towels and oven mittens are blue. But it was much cheapier and good uality and they only had red.

Oh man, that's the thing I hate about shopping. Just when you thought you have the stuff you need finally figured out, like what to get and where to get them, it didn't work out. If it's not that, it's the price issue. Or something else entirely. At least you can still get to try to get the ones that you really like. Like what I always say, I have waited long enough to get the very thing that I want, what's another day or two of waiting.

I hate when you go some place and see something you want but don't have the money then to get it, then go back later to find out they don't have your color in stock or style. That gets on my nerves. I hope next time you go back though they will have what you are looking for.

Well, the rolling pin will be wood, right? Is your colander going to be enameled? I have seen it in both red and blue. I think that red and blue and black will be very complimentary.

Such a bummer that they dollar store did not have all of the things you were hoping to get. I hate when I go somewhere to pick up something and they don't have what I am looking for. Good luck with your earnings this month so you can head over to Walmart and get the rest of the stuff you were wanting.

I can see why you were disappointed that you were not able to find all of the things that you were looking for. However, I do think that it is good that you were able to find all of the things that you were able to find and for a price that was pretty reasonable.
I know what you mean about everything not matching, but I do think that is something that is quite common to have happen in first homes because we really don't have a lot of money to make everything match perfectly. That is something that you will be able to work on improving in the future.

I know the feeling. I have built up my online earnings so I can start buying things for my online business. I am almost done with school then I can focus on getting my business running and take time to get the things done around here that I have been neglecting such as housecleaning and gardening. I hope you can find everything you need and that you will be able to move into your own place soon. I know it is hard living with parents especially ones that expect you to pay for everything.
