This is the tried and tested instant remedy for clogged nose and swollen sinuses. Works better than the pills as the relief is fast. It is also cheaper. You can add a teaspoon of Vicks vaporub in the water to enhance the steam's healing effect.

I have had chronic sinusitis problems for years and all I can do is share with you what I do to help mine. 1. Take a wash cloth and put it under the hot water tap at a temperature that will allow you to keep it as hot as possible. Wring it out and place it across your nose and eyes. Don't make it so hot that it burns your skin, but hot enough to allow you to feel the heat through your skin. When it cools, remove it and do it again. You can do this as many times as you want even place it across your forehead. 2. I have used the steam treatments but many times my sinus blocks and the I can't even get the steam to help. 3. Use either a salt water spray or a neti pot in your nostrils. There are instructions that accompany a neti pot as to how to use it, and it is very effective. 4. At night, use a vaporizer in your sleeping area. Especially in the winter, when the heat in the house can dry out the moisture so badly. 5. Stand in a hot shower and allow the hot water to spray your face. Breathe the hot steam while you shower. 6. Try a sinus mask with a damp wet cloth between it and your face. I've tried successfully all of these things and if it does help then I call a doctor and go see them. It always takes about 14 days to totally get rid of sinus congestion, after that time period if it is still there, then it is an infection that may require medication. But I don't quit using the other things even after I'm on medication. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

I think you overdo yourself and hence you lack vitamin c and enough sleep. Stay cool relax yourself and take fruits with much vitamin-c. if not boil a water with salt and take a deep breath above a boiling water with salt.
