Uncle for the first time / myLot

Today I will be uncle for the first time. My niece is coming :) A new experience for me. Do you have nieces / nephews, how is your relation with them?

Congrats! haha My first niece is so cute that I wanted them to sleep over here in our house and you will love the feeling of being called as uncle for sure especially when they start to asked questions about different things with what and why. you'll surely love hanging with them and talk to them. Enjoy!

Congratulations to the newest addition in your family! I already have grown kids for nephews and nieces by marriage. LIke, the oldest niece is only 9 years younger than I am. At first it is difficult because you can no longer tell them incredible stories to make them like you or believe you, lol!

I like the fact that they respect me as their aunt yet they like haning out with me because I am just like their older buddy.

I have 2 nephews and one niece. On nephew is 10 and lives in Florida while i live in Missouri so i don't get to see him as often as i'd like but i call him send him birthday and holiday gifts and spoil him when he does come visit. My other nephew is 4 and his sister my niece is 9 and they live a 20 minute car ride from me. My hubby and i try to go to their house at least once a week if not more. I always go into the basement and play with them when they ask give them hugs and kisses before they go to bed if we are at their house. My hubby buys them toys food etc plays games with them take them to the movies out to eat etc. We have a very good relationship with them and they say mu hubby and i are the best aunt and uncle they have and their favorite aunt and uncle. We try an be there for them all the time even my nephew that lives in Florida. It is awesome being an aunt. I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Tho i would like kid sof my own i love being an aunt.

Hello Jenny, it´s very good, but still I didn´t see her yet. She´s in the hospital , I will see her when she comes home. I have a flue so I ´m avoiding going to see her at the hospital. But it´s a good sensation being an uncle

hi brave, I understand the feelings when I found out that my sister is pregnant and I will become an auntie I can't explain my happiness specially when the day he arrived it was so much joy actually I act like a mom to him and we love him so much. Such a precious one Congrats to you
