Yeah this is true. Never done it before and m eldest daughter is having a project of planting a tomato in a can and bring them to school. So made her one and made another one for myself. The excitement i had when i first saw the sprout of leaves coming out was just as pure, do not blame me for this ok.LOL! Now i am planning to plant more varieties, just little plants that i can take care of early in the morning, i can water them and see to it that they get enough sun. I like spices and herbs so i will plant more of those and the space i have is very limited. What about you, are you into planting, gardening?

Hooray for you! Isn't it a wonderful feeling to see them poke out of the soil? I feel your excitement. I received some fruit as a Christmas gift and planted the seeds that were in the grapefruit. Out of 10 seeds I have 6 grapefruit trees growing. I am so excited about this. Good luck and have fun :)

You will have so much fun with them. I love to watch my plants grow. I talk to them and play music around them all the time. Keep me posted on how things are going.

Growing tomatoes and then having them grow to the point you can eat them, that is a good thing. I know I enjoy eating them when I can and find especially when freshly picked to often taste the best. I have actually considered growing some of these this yr in our garden.

Tomatoes - Philippine tomatoes. Smaller and rounder and yet just as nutritious.
Oh your post reminds me of the days I go to school. We also have that same project and it brought a lot of excitement to us. Planting tomatoes is lots of fun especially if you start to harvest the fruits. I think tomato is one of the easiest to grow. I noticed they grow in my garden faster than other seeds sown. It is just that my tomatoes are not as big as the imported ones or those grown in Benguet but still I believe they are as nutritious. My brother has a small garden of tomatoes as well and when he started harvesting the yield is so overwhelming. It could feed the whole neighborhood. I am just a bit worried because last night till this morning, it has been raining. I’m afraid this will affect the tomatoes.

Yes tomatoes are easier to plant, i am taking care of my tomatoes because its been raining hard here too making sure they don't get destroyed because they are still so small and delicate.
