Cody came home today and he is doing 100 percent better then two days ago. He is on a certain diet for about a week and he has medicine to take twice a day. He was so happy to see us and he is now sleeping and content. Thank you for all your well wishes on behalf of myself and cody.

He is doing ok. He has finished taking his medication and he is eating really good. He is just old and finds it hard to move at times. He has lost his ability to control his peeing in the house. Sometimes he makes it to the paper and sometimes he pees in his bed. After all he will be 15 years old in June I can't blame him. Poor thing!

We had a old kitty that towards the end he would just be laying there and you would see a puddle under him. Sure miss him a lot.

I am glad he is home and feeling better. I didn't see the previous posts so I am not exactly sure what happened I will go back and read them and see what was going on. I am sure though that whatever happened that it is a relief to have him home.

Thank you so much! On Wednesday afternoon my shih tzu Cody started to make noises that we had never heard before. He was in pain so we rushed him to the hospital and they said he was bloated with air and if its not taken care of his stomach could end up twisting. Then they would have to operate or put him to sleep. He is 14 going on 15 and there would be no guarantee that he would survive an operation at his age. So now aftet two days in the animal hospital he is home and doing good.

I am so glad to hear that Cody was able to come back home to his family and that he is feeling a lot better than he was just a few days ago. It does stink that there is a special diet that he is going to have to stick with a special diet for a little while and that he has to take medication. With that said, I am sure that all of this is worth it to you to know that your family member is back home and that he is continuing to get better after his illness.

Sorry that it took so long to answer. Cody is finished with his medication and doing ok. He is peeing sometimes on the paper but most of the times he is missing the paper. Its his age he will be 15 in June, he has lost control of his bladder.

Hiya lelin,
Nice news and nice to hear about him getting well. I had never heard of this condition before either so its a real eye opener for me and others really valuable to learn something like that.

Hi,
It is very nice that your Cody is Ok now. The pets are like our family members and when they are not well we are very much worried about them. they also miss us so Cody felt very happy when he see you.
