Shouldn't Luke 17:20-37 Be the End of (Final Word on) End-Times?

In Luke 17:20-37, Jesus tells us how it's gonna be---like in the days of 'Noah' (or "Noe"), when one day--as people were partyin` on--PLOP went all the water; as in the days of Abraham's brother Lot, when one day--as people were busy earning Sodom & Gomorrah its place in the ranks of Las Vegas, NV, & other such sin-dens--PLOP went all the ... I forget what actually happened, but I bet it made a PLOP This is where Jesus reminds us that there are NO SIGNS THAT IT'S GONNA HAPPEN! (maybe NO SIGNS is one of the 'signs of the apocalypse' ) It's where He told us that--when it comes--you're not gonna be able to go back and get your stuff ... two men in the field, and one man is taken while the other is left; two in the bed, one man taken-one man leaves; in a flash. NO SIGNS---some people say "Uh-oh! There!" or "Uh-Oh! Here!" but neither here nor there mean anything! Why do people keep insisting they must!

We should always be ready because we know not the hour in which we may die and when we do die then the judgement.

Kind of, but more like 'the thought-pattern we have when we die will be the one we have forever.'

That is what I am thinking. Some may call that "your character." We will be raise with the same character as we went into the grave with.

in the Bible He also tells us that, He will show signs of when the time is near. He didn't say the sign of THE END but the END IS NEAR. So probably people misinterpret this, or they just think about it too much. Take the sign as its near, but the end itself is unknown. He did said that He will come like a thief in the night, no one knows He's coming. The exact end is similar to what they've experience before, its unexpected but it came.

I think the misinterpretation begins at the idea of 'the world.' It's not 'the planet' or 'all existence' or 'the universe,' it's more like 'the system you're a part of' or 'everything you know.' So there was 'the end of the world' when you left your mother's womb, another when they brought you from the room you were born-in to another room, another when they took you out of the hospital, and another & another ... one everytime the 'entire world' shifted because you learned that there's more to it than everything you know.

Yes. it is the final word on End Times. The problem is many people want to look for signs, and in so doing become deceived. Some don't take the Word to heart, so even if you show them the verse, they probably wouldn't care.

In my opinion, people must not be pre occupied with signs of times rather be occupied about receiving salvation and having relationship to God and accepting Jesus as His Savior. So when the times come, we will not be afraid of the end times rather with love be ready to meet our God.

That sounds slightly faulty, as if we WON'T meet our G*d UNTIL all things pass away. That's wrong; we meet our G*d at every interaction with other 'humans' (all 'children of G*d'). Sure, some may not know HOW G*d dwells within them (newer Christians); but that doesn't make them any less-'of the Father,' any less-'siblings of the Anointed Son.'

I believe in signs of ending but I am confused if those are signs of ending or starting of our awakeness. I already see some signs has became true, like less humanity, enemies are from family, disease, same gender marriage, men wear and behave like ladies, ladies wear and behave like men and....

Christians let their worldly minds take them over like that. We will not end! The little things you speak of---they destroy us if we do not either forget them or use them to build instead of destroy. "A perverse generation seeks a sign, but no sign will I (Jesus) give them but the sign of Jonah (literally, 'the dove,' which is built to glide more than to 'lift-off').
