Man City kept themselves in the title hunt with a 2-0 win over Chelsea. In the first half both teams tested each other, though City was the dominant party. But both teams went into the half on parity 0-0. In the second half, City opened the scoring with a goal from Yaya Toure and then sealed the win with another from Tevez who started from the bench. With this win, Man City still keep themselves in the title race barely with Man United sitting 12 points clear. I think the title is now Man United's to lose rather than anything else. Cheers! Ram

Yes, this match enough exclalms seen how alotnya, the game in the first half mutual attack happening but there is none that produces goals. Until the first half end 0-0. But everything changed, in the second half city who plays a dominant can finally goal through carlos tevez and yaya toure. So city won the game. Although city berhasil victory but within 15 points now very heavy for they maintain the league title england.

I think the title race is officially over now as City have fallen back another 3 points after last week's fixtures. I do not think they can make up 18 points with 10 games to go in the season. Cheers! Ram

I think that the title race is virtually over with Manchester United 15 points clear with their 4 - 0 win over Norwich.

I think Manchester City had no chance of catching up of Manchester united already and it happen that they got really lucky with Chelsea this match.

I agree that Man City might not be able to catch up with Man United who have run away with a 12 point lead. But I think you are a tad bit unfair on Man City when you say they were lucky against Chelsea. I think they were dominant and deserved to win the match. Cheers! Ram

Manchester City was in control of almost the whole game. In the few moments that Chelsea was trying to create something, they simply got no where, very much like a headless chicken. It's a far cry from the days when they ruled England. They need a player like Yaya Toure who can control the play. Michael Essien would have done a better job in that role for Chelsea than David Luiz, John Mikel Obi or Ramires in winning the midfield, and let Eden Hazard and Juan Mata get the freedom to spray the ball. They lack fluency in the ball passing and distribution when they had the ball. Against lesser opponents they may be able to get by with their individual skills, but it will be like banging the wall when playing teams with good organization and team work. I hope Chelsea will regroup and play well again soon. Both the Yaya Toure and Tevez goals are gems. How could they fail to qualify in ECL?

Yaya Toure is the glue of the Man City team. They struggle when he does not play. More importantly he has the happy knack of scoring important goals in important matches. This weekend was another example of that. Cheers! Ram

If it is not completely over, it is already an uphill task for Man City. I think Man United have to play really bad from here to lose the title. So you are right they already have one hand on the trophy. Cheers! Ram

I city put up a brilliant performance against Chelsea this weekend,a few flashes of brilliance from Aguero, tevez and Silva capped up with a marvelous Joe Hart save, man city were up and about from the start of the game and they really took the game to Chelsea,i wouldn't rule them out of the trophy yet, they are capable of springing a shocker!emaxwell

I was actually disappointed that Tevez did not start. But he came off the bench and immediately looked so effective. But Man City more less dominated the match. Cheers! Ram

The title is definitely Man Utd to lose. But after scrapping past Chelsea, Man City just manage to keep their title hopes alive and keep the league more interesting for the moment. I don't want to see the title wrapped up in February. As for Chelsea, they will now have to look over their shoulder to watch out for Tottenham and maybe Arsenal. Else, they will lose that top 4 position like last season. Only difference, they will not have the luxury of the being the champions of europe to ensure another season in the tournament.

Now the third and fourth place is a toss up between four teams i.e. Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton. So it would be interesting to see who get the last two champions league position. Cheers! Ram

I think Manchester City totally dominated the game and could have the game by a bigger margin, Chelsea were toothless and it wasn't going to be no. 200 for Super Frankie. All in all, city lived to fight another day. Cheers....
