On a swing under a tree and enjoying life!

A Sunday afternoon like no other, nothing to do but rest after a week's workload of stuff. Behind our house is a tree where I put a bed swing, where is usually take a nap or just simply rest, closing my eyes and breathe, lol! Nothing to think about, just closed my eyes, enjoy the fresh air, and enjoy life. Enjoy life the simplest way i can. What do you think?

The last time I was on a swing was about 15 years ago. It was at the Quezon Memorial Circle where my son was practicing for their Field demonstration. So when I saw the playground, I took my 3 kids with me and I sat on the swing and had a lot of fun. It reminded me of my younger days when my dad would bring us to the park and let me and my siblings have some time to play. Those were the days......

You know what? I got seven sons and most of the time, i have to sort of find a way to have them stay away from the swing in the afternoon. But for the most part, it really is hard doing so as i know they do love the swing and there are times when i had to share it with them which again makes it more enjoyable.

Wow, it made me envious for a moment. But you are fortunate to have such a wonderful relaxing time in the lap of nature. I love swings and during my childhood I had enjoyed a lot. In our big backyard, we used to put up a swing and have fun with friends.

Yeah, enjoying a swing at my age, really fun and refreshing, lol! Don't be envious my friend, just open your eyes and look around, look for things that you enjoy doing and be resourceful and hopefully you would find your own haven of rest. Thanks for the response and hope you have fun too.

I agree!!! Loving life that we are given an opportunity every so often that we get to enjoy what is simple in life.
For me i find enjoyment in reading books...
I find enjoyment everytime i walk our street and see and feel the cool air in my face... its such a blessing that we can still breathe fresh air.
I find enjoyment in ice creams on the street just to give you refreshments...
I find enjoyment in having a lovely afternoon free to just chat with my mom...
I find enjoyment and makes me feel happy just being with my loved ones... talk and laugh with them.

Yes, i quite agree. Simple things that other s don't have time to appreciate, lol! the best things in life are really free once you learn to realize it and having to spend time especially with people we care for is such a respite also from the busy days or work. Just keep doing what tends to a put a smile on your face and enjoy life.

That is so relaxing, I love that kind of simplicity. I sure do hope I can rest like that, I really need it since I've been working so hard these days and hopefully would want to take a break from all the hassles in life. I sure do hope I can relax after all the hectic things happening in my life right now, but I'm glad for you!

Even in the busiest of days, one should learn to relax my dear, to sort of keeping a balance in life, lol! Seriously, simple things like this is a joy to behold as one grows old, lol! Thanks for the response and i hope you kind of find a simple time yourself for rest and enjoy life..
..I just imagined that while under that tree and in a bed swing, you are also happy and enjoying the fruit of the tree

It's a narra tree with its branches spreading everywhere almost covering the whole backyard. Quite a restful bliss with all the the solemness of a quite afternoon. A real nice, cool place to be to rest.

I am glad that you can have the simple life of the hammick in your back yard to be able to go out and take a well deserved break and look upward to the sky and watch the world go passing by in peace i old wish i could have that

The simple things in life, free to enjoy. It really sort of letting time pass me by, eyes closed and nothing to think about, no problems, no worries, at least for the moment, lol! A short respite from all the harsh realities in life and i guess enjoying such a simple restful moment is a moment one must have to enjoy.

I envy you my friend for having a swing under a tree in your place of residence. It's really one way of relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. You can also listen to a radio while you do that, and that's how to really enjoy a rest day.

Yes, relaxation, the real definition of the term. Closing my eyes, thinking of nothing, just hoping to get a simple nap, lol! But eventually trying to enjoy a lazy restful afternoon. I guess one of the best things in life that is free to enjoy, lol!
