Tomorrow is orange day need some ideas / myLot

So every Tuesday with my toddlers we do a color and tomorrow is orange. I am trying to think of something fun to do with the color orange. With other colors we have done paint, play dough and balloons but not sure what I should do with orange. Anyone have any fun ideas for me?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am glad to hear that u enjoy celebrating each day and relate each one of it to a color and i am sure the toddlers would be enjoying this as well. may be the orange theme should be kept for this day so that every one would be dressed up in orange attires as that would spice up the day as well. What say?

I guess I should have added that. We do dress every Tuesday in the color we are focusing on. So in my bright orange shirt and an orange ribbon I taught today. I was surprised how many of my toddlers actually had orange shirts as well. What we did for an activity is I found an orange carrot egg for Easter for each child and we picked the orange fruit loops out and they filled their eggs. They thought that was fun and yummy!

Well, there is always the fruit and you could also consider getting an orange ball to play with as well. In the future, something that might be a lot of fun to do with the children is to allow them to do a show and tell with the color of the week. This was something that we did at the preschool that I used to volunteer at when I was in college and the kids absolutely loved it.
