Small special way to make kids smile
February 25, 2013 11:04pm CST
We celebrate hearts day last February 17, 2013. We cooked sweetened rice mixed with banana for kids. They loved it so much and they were full enough to display their loving smiles of thank you. They were kids we followed up for Bible study and they were having less food to eat daily. We cannot gave them daily but in our simple cooked, love to see their smile after eating. Hope to make it monthly feeding program for them. Happy smiley day to all.

its very nice seeing kids happy its like there is no tomorrow everytime i heard my kid laughing, they really like to play, watch and eat. it also lessen your stress after office that you will see them hugging and kissing you. they always ask for a small presence when i get home but im happy because whatever i bring to them they are always happy.

A lot of smiling now to hear your experience. I can relate. Indeed when you see kids happy its like no ending happiness for them. My weekend so dull before but now visiting them weekly, i am satisfied with my whole week activities. And kids though have many likes, but whatever you brought for them actually they are happy already. So no hard time in giving them any.

We used to do it before when we're in College. We had a monthly feeding program. A week before that schedule I personally prepare money and bought toys and candies for the kids. It's such a great feeling, seeing those kids with a smile on their lips and glow in their eyes. I missed that thing! Keep it up guys!

Indeed my every Sunday visitation to them satisfies my weekend. It's their smile am after. I missed them a lot now if cannot visit them. With kids, you are less stressed. Good to hear what you did. I'm sure you like doing it again. Hope to see you working for kids.

You all are so sweet. This is truly a kind gesture of love shown to kids and their smile bring priceless satisfaction to all. Children are so pure and what their face showed are real and not pretended. It is a joy to see them happy. Hope you and your team can bring more cheers to them always. All the best and keep it up!

That is great to do something for those kids that they do not have enough. while of being in school my teacher gave us the habit of saving money and then when we collect some money, we used to go to call one of poor kid to market and ask him to choose shoes bags and dress, we would never forget that happiness and tears in their eyes. I just wish all people could do something for poor kids. I think if all of us, keep 10 percent of our income for this work we would see happiness for all.
