Why does it happen...

Why does it happen that at times the accounts of paid-to-write sites are locked by money processing sites? The latest I heard was that the account of ExpertsColumn in MoneyBookers has been locked. When does it happen? Are these business accounts or individual accounts? Does the balance might have gone down in their account there?

Hi abhi! I also read about it and because the only payment processor that I have is Paypal, so I don't know much about other processors available. I also encounter my other sites having the same problem. Are you receiving your payment from EC using that payment processor?

Hi Sharon, If you have only paypal as your processor, then how do you cash out from EC? As far as I know, EC only has MB as a payment processor and not PP. For your second question, my answer is "No". That's because I cashout directly in my bank. So, I don't need a money processor for EC.

@ Abhi: Yes I do use PP with all my sites. So before I finally decide to work with certain site, I would first have to know if the site pays with paypal or not. Have great day!

I think it would be best if you send a support ticket so they can help you solve that problem. I guess it would be difficult if you're not going to do something about it because its your money and if you just let it go, it might happen to other also.

Thanks for your response p3ks626, but if you read my very first response to Sharon, you will realize that I do cash out through the bank directly. So, I don't have to depend on any online money processor to get paid.

Me too, i encountered this kind of problem, i wonder if it is locked to all members or me only, if it is under maintenance, they should notify the members or post some option, or they should post after before a maintenance or things like happens.

Or you on EC? If yes, then this problem is for all the EC users. I agree that the admin should notify all the members about this new and unwanted development. However, they have put a message on the page. When you open any article on EC, you will find that message. But I guess, there should be a mailing system where the admin should mail the members about this. What if the members do not open the site, they will never know about it.
