my star rating is changing several times in these 6 months

There is nothing new or weird happening in your myLot account! The star is the Discussion Rating System... and it fluctuates. The star represents your myLot reputation and it is a direct representation of how other members of the community have rated your responses and discussions, positive or negative. Hello, It's just an ordinary thing that you rating star is changing, because our rating star is based on that how others rate us. You can notice that people who have a lot of good discussions have the highest rating, but I am truly sure that It depends on our activity too.

be careful, maybe as i post this one, this discussion of yours will get deleted, i am just not sure. but if not, that will be good. like you, before i experienced the same thing. my star fallen from 9 to 4. how sad eh? i am just grateful that there are people in here who helped me and give me pluses to recover my reputation points. so just glad that the bullying of it was being stopped. i do not know if this reputation point of mine will rise to the peak of its highest number. i guess there are lots of factors why our star number rises and fall. let us just be careful. :)

hmmmm this is interesting never thought that there is a chance for once star to move up and down. Thanks for this now I know.

I see your rating to be at 8, yellow star as of this time (while responding to your discussion) hmm i think it fluctuates because the people here in mylot's ratings given to you probably differs. Some gives you the plus ratings that pull your star up to red and then some might have rated you negatively, thus the red falling down to a yellow star.

It must be really fun to see your star rating changing constantly, from red to yellow and then back to red again, back and forth again in another month. It sure sound like something weird had happened to you right under your nose during Mylotting. It is alright, there is nothing to get worry about, i am sure soon your star will be back to red again when the right moment come.

As i look to mylot today i noticed that my rate is changed to red from blue color. Meaning from 10 to 9 and my rating is always play within these two numbers. Anyway its okay with me because i believe that my responses maybe rate negative and sometimes rate positive. Most of the time changes are based on our responses or discussions. Try to see the signs at the right corner of our discussions if we are commenting there is a sign of negative and positive. The most important is we are here happily sharing our thoughts and minds to all friends. In this reason we give or share some good things to them and we are getting also the same good things from friends here. That is strange because I was just thinking about this yesterday how my star hasn't changed in about a year or more. It stays at 10 blue at I believe 97 percent. So I guess that is good. I don't understand why yours keeps changing. Is it due to not being active or about how or what you are writing? I don't know exactly how they come up with the rating on the stars.

Same here, I also experienced changes in my rating but I guess it's not important, the most important is that we are still active and participating. It's just like our lives there are ups and downs.

This has happened to me in january. I reached level 9 and I wrote a discussion about it. The next day I was back to level 8 and I was disappointed. Then after some day I was shifted to 9 and from there I never left my level to go down. Let me see when I will reach 10. Reaching 10 is ultimate on mylot. Also keeping that level is even more difficult.

That sounds very strange and unjust my friend. You will always be a 10 in my mind. I hope your color will change from yellow to red so you are a 9 before going up to 10. Yes, 10 a blue star is where you should be. Good luck in the next few weeks bringing back up your star rating.

really,but i always observe my star rating and it almost a year that my star rating remain in 9,i don't know yet on how to make it 10 or even to make it lower,i just be active here and that's fine with me as long as i earn here in mylot.

Well, I have ever become 9 for one time, but then go down to 8 and have become 8 ever since. It’s not going down or going up again. Maybe someday I can reach 9 again or even 10, but being 10 maybe is kind of impossible, since being 10 is ultimate and it’s hard to keep it. Like in my case I was going down from 9 to 8. Even though I have become 9 in one time.
