My friend XP is pretty outdated. try switching to windows 7 or Windows 8. thats much better you know! just change it and then you will like it. Win8 has some kewl apps but still win7 is pretty smooth. you really gotta try it! :)

Haha. That's the case with most people trying to upgrade from XP. Anyway, it'd be good if you upgraded as soon as possible since Microsoft will stop support for Win XP from May 2014 on wards (or somewhere around that time). This could then put you system under serious security threat. Also, once you get Win 7 installed and work with it for a few days, I'm sure you'll end up kicking yourself for not upgrading earlier.

at first I dont like windows 8 because it can ate a lot of memory on your computer.. but when my friend try the windows 8 on a new computer model it looks good and have faster access on processors, therefore I like it only for the new model computers :) but I like much is windows 7. im very familiar to use it..

yes its almost same at all, you cant see the difference if you use it for a while.. many computers dont support windows 8.. like my LG dual core computer, when I use that OS, after 10mins my computer becomes heat unlike windows 7 It will only heat after using 2-3 hours.

my friend both have the same kinda mechanism and there is really nothing different between windows 7 and windows 8, the only differnce is see is the metro apps and the metro style icons and everything apart from that everything is same

its ok. very new to this operating system. at first I was like what's going on here and how do I do anything with is. after messing with my laptop for a few hours I found out how things work and what else I can do with it. the only thing i'm wondering is if there are any good apps for it.

I feel great about my laptop because it has both windows 8 and linux mint. Windows 8 crashes several times but it doesn't get worse than that so far. Downloading apps for me has been beneficial. The start menu disappeared but a custom menu can be installed.

well for me . after installing windows 8 i have never ever experienced a crash you know? Windows 7 used to crash every now and then but after i changed to win8 crashes decreased tremendously. Im starting to like Windows 8 you know? .. Linux is a cool operating system i just love it. and i like the Compiz Fusion. of linux but unfortunately my sound card doesnt support linux so Im stuck with Windows. But i do enjoy my time with Windows :)
