Crutches Hurt

it's kind of ironic, because you use crutches to help you walk from you lower body. on the other hand, your upper body takes a beating. i don't know if my settings on my crutches are too high, but it hurts my back, my arms and my neck to use them. i am so sore, on top of my foot being this way for now. thank goodness i am so stoned off my meds the doc gave me, it doesn't matter.

I have known people who said their under arms got sore from using crutches. I have't heard of the other problems though. Hopefully you won't have to use them long and the meds will hold out until you have surgery and get it all behind you.

well, i don't use them around the house. i just crawl and use the wall to lift my self off with my other foot. i am mostly going to try to stay off them until monday.

Sorry to hear that, my son broke his foot once and said he was better off without the crutches. They made it hurt worse to walk.

Hopefully it's a temporary problem as you get used to the crutches, maybe it's something to talk to your doctor next time you see them, maybe the settings need to be adjusted, they should support you without causing strain on another part of your body.
