What has happened to ptcbox?

I am a member of ptcbox. I had heard many praising words about the site. Some even advocated for upgrade of account to make full utilization of the site. But my strategy of working with PTC sites is very simple; it is never to invest a single farthing in any such PTC site. So I stuck to my policy firmly and never upgraded, rather, continued to work as a free standard member. I never used to log in regularly due to the unavailability of adequate number of ads and used to visit it occasionally. Yesterday when I tried to open the site, the site opened but I was shocked to see it; what I found was not clear to me; on the top, I found this announcement which I quote here as a ready reference- ‘This site has 0 members -- We Have Paid Our Members a Total of: $0.00 [?]’. There was no provision for logging in; I could not make out anything and closed the site. Has any other member of ptcbox tried to log in and experienced the same problem like me?

Don't you know this site have stopped paying to members since many months now. As per them their paypal account got limited, so they have stopped paying to their users. And since then I guess they are not paying to anyone. I guess you haven't open this site since long otherwise you should have known this news.

Well, even I opened an account there, and things do not seem as good as heard earlier.

hello, I also joined this site and reached at payout. But when I try for withdrawal, withdrawal button was not active. I listen that this site have limit problem with PP. But it seem this site is also became scam. It is better to forget it and focus on other sites. Good luck

I tried to log in, as I can see my email address and password, but then I get the message:
We do not have that e-mail address on database.
Please try again.
It looks like they have closed the site and don't even let us in. I have been paid by Matrix Mail - their other site, but have not heard from them, no emails

Some websites are having a good time, and then something sets in to give them a bad time. So, we have to wait and watch for each such happening.

that site was once a good one. Then they claimed paypal took their acct. and they went scam. i never beleive it.

Hello mariaperalta,
Now it is clear that all problems were willfully planned. After 6 months of limited status they are to receive huge fund from PayPal. So all members accounts are terminated or they sold the site.
