the do's and don'ts in Business

i plan to have my own business for extra income aside from mylot,because need to work hard now a days for my 2 kids. can you please share your opinion or personal experience of the do's and dont's in business. thank you very much! :)

When having a business, you should never trust anyone to handle it for you. You should be the one handling it yourself so basically, you should try businesses that you know or love. It will be hard for you especially that you have 2 kids. I don't have kids and I was really tired for the first year with only 3 hours of sleep a day because I monitor everything.

When trying to establish a business, you should know how it really works, who are your target customers, and if you have a strategic place to out up the shop or store. If it is an online business, you should know how to mingle with people online and offer something that will tickle their imagination. Make something unique.
Do not put up a business coz Ms. X was able to become successful with it. Her success may not be your success, too. But if you are willing to learn, attend seminars about it so that you may know well enough oj how to handle such business.
Always be a hand-on owner. Never entrust decisions to your subordinates. This way you are able to maintain the quality of product and service that you are able to provide to our customers.
