India won the 2nd Cricket test at Hyderabad for innings and 135 runs. This is a humiliating defeat for Australia after the big defeat in the 1st Test at Chennai. Pujara is the Man of the match. Dhoni posted 22nd victory as Captain and became the most successful Indian Team Captain after this win. What happened to powerful Australian batting and bowling line up? Score - Aus 237/9(dec) | Ind 503/10 | Aus 131/10-

Finally, India are beginning to get back their aura at home after that forgettable series against England. I think that was a nice wake up call and now our boys are all bright and sunny. It was poor game for the Aussies with the bat, ball and the captaincy. What was Michael Clarke thinking on the first day when he declared. I said then it was a stupid call and nothing has made me change my mind!! Cheers! Ram

Yes, India reached their best form and Australia remained in their worse form. I think Clarke may find it difficult to keep his captaincy if he repeats such childish estimations and decisions.

I think Clarke will remain the captain as Australia do not have any other options. In the current Aussie team only Clarke remains a surity for getting picked up. The others all are dispensable so far and have not cemented their position in the team. Cheers! Ram

Yes, it is the same as India once was in a position. When India bowed out of the 2007 WC in the first round itself, everyone was saying that Dhoni should not be the captain. However, there wasn't any choice for the Indian team then. Secondly, I still remember, it was in the 2003 World Cup, where Australia had defeated India, only three captains remained - Saurav Ganguly, Ricky Ponting and Stefan Flaming of New Zealand, all the others were removed from their posts.

There is no doubt that India has inflicted a huge defeat on the Aussies. We should admit that the side Clarke is leading is below the strength. See, Watson isn't bowling and Mitchell Johnson isn't playing either and how much experience has Doharty and Maxwell got. Maxwell is just a debutante still and between them it's practically still nothing. Yes, there will be brickbats on Clarke for these two defeats. But as far as India is concerned, this is indeed a satisfying win and even the win in Chennai was a similar one. Congrats to Team India and Dhoni for becoming the most successful Test captain for India!

I really felt like laughing when you said that they escaped with a draw just because it was a 3 day match. Yes, I followed that match and know how insulting it could have got. No wonder, the Poms are already laughing at the Aussies. I am sure you might have read the latest news. They are also giving a refund for the fifth day too.

Simple. They couldn't replace the stalwarts who've hing up their boots in recent times. Australia are currently in transition and its good to see that the Indian team has realized it and capitalized on the opportunity. If our players do keep their heads down and focus, we can make it a clean sweep.

I think we've generally been in good shape post the humiliating exit from the 2007 World cup. There might have been minor hiccups along the way but in general we've been in the ascendancy. At the same time, Australia's form and overall grip of the game and their supremacy has been in decline. Hopefully, we'll continue to do well while we're at it; and as they say make hay while the sun shines.

Yes, Australia is exposing that they haven't properly filled up the gaps of some great players retired recently. On the other hand Indian team reached their best team work after passing a few seasons of bitter experiences and bad form.

A thumping win no doubt for Dhoni and his men but there are some reasons which should be worrying the Indian Captain especially the form of its opening batsman Virender Sehwag. I think his place in the team is doubtful for the next match. No doubt Australia made a blunder by dropping Nathan Llyon

I also hope that they score more runs in the coming test match. The first day is washed with rain and I hope the match continues on the second day.

I think this test is moving towards a draw. Weakness of Australian bowling line up and Australian power batting lead by Clarke is sufficient to lengthen play more than next 4 days.

Yes friend, it was a clean victory too by Indian team enjoyed and celebrated by all fans of Indian team. I think the next Test match isn't starting Today. I just found a news that "Captain Clarke" is at Taj Mahal. Thanks for the response.

Every team has to pass through a bad patch. In the seventies, the West Indies team was number 1, both in Tests and One-day Internationals. Next came the turn of Australia. Now it seems that the turn has come for India. If India can play as a whole team, the international cricket field will be dominated by India.

Certainly players like Pujara, Kohli, Aswhin, Jadeja etc can take India to the topmost position of the world of cricket. But, in my opinion at present S Africa is the most promising side to be in 1st position. Thanks for the response.

I think it was a good batting by Puraja and Murali Vijay are good cricketers and they had shown they can get good scores. I think they should be given more opportunities in test cricket.

Pujara is capable to make splendid innings alike Dravid and his future in international cricket is bright indeed. I amn't so confident about Murali Vijay since he has lack of consistency in keeping on his good form. I expect some new faces may replace as openers after Sehwag and Gambhir.

Hello mohkanari this is checkmail and do think Indian Team is on its great march just like previous good days here.As overall Indian team performance seems to be improved, there is no stopping form it being on no 1 rankings, in both Test and ODI crickets. one more reason to Indian win was disappointing Australian performance, also bad pitch reading. But do know they have an great team similar to India. And can bounce back in upcoming years. Anyways cheer up for Team India, the Winners of good time.

Now Indian team seems to be regained a well balanced team line up. By bat as well as ball they are performing similar to the best time of Indian team in past. But Australia is nowhere near their impression. I think Clarke isn't a thinking captain as Ponting and Waugh and it may bring more troubles to Australian team in future.

Definitely it is a big win for team India. They have performed well in this series so far both with their batting and bowling. In batting the youngsters done a good job for India. Also Jadeja and Aswin bowled really well. And now definitely India can't loose the test series.

Both in the 1st and 2nd cricket tests India played marvelously. Their batting and bowling line up equally performed to get victory. But India A team too played with same upper hand against Australian team in 3 days match. If Australia regain their good form matters wouldn't be so easy. Thanks for the response.

Surely,it has been a great win for Team India. After a gap for 2 years, they are back to winning ways. And best part of this victory is the contibution from the young stars of the indian team rather than people who have been long in the team. That shows our future in cricket is good.Good to see Ashwin and Jadeja getting wickets.I was also impressed with Jadeja's direct throw for a run out.It was absolutely fantastic.Pujara played a good knock and was patient. Also Vijay, he did really well.Dhoni has become successful for sure after this victory. But then most of his victories were in India and actual test is outside the subcontient. But then for records, yes he did well.I hope he can do better overseas as well. But then he has been brilliant behind the stumps and with the bat.His double ton earlier in first test was superb.Aussies has been really struggling. They have not contributed well in any of the innings and have not been able to pressurise India unlike last 2 decades whenever they visited.Clarke played well in first innings. But it was total surrender in second innings.Hope India can regain the Border-Gavaskar trophy. We really need it badly after all these losses. Thanks!

In my opinion Pujara and Jadeja are to going to shine as International stars in future. Jadeja has already proved he is match winner for Indian team during India's England tour in 2011 in ODI series.
