hi friends, how are you? what do you think about people who works and study at the same time? is that possible? Does everybody separate and have time for both activities? Would it be disattend any of them while we are paying atention to the other? Im a student, and I try to do my best in both of cases. Of course, sometimes seems to be crazy and impossible, but I preffer to "die" trying to do something, than being a lazy girl. Of course, I need money to survive, and buy studing stuff.. What did you remeber from your studing memories talking about money, work, and study? Have a nice day

I am working full time and was once a student at a University. It all depends on your strength, relationship with your employer and other tight schedules. So it is possible to be a worker and at the same time a student.

I worked when I was a student and it was possible for me to do both things at the same time. I studied at a school were we spent most of the time online instead of studying in a classroom. Every month we had to spend 3 days at the school, but the rest of the time we only studied online. I found it easy to combine online studies and work because I could study anytime that I chose. If I worked morning and afternoons I could study in the evenings and if I worked in the evenings I could study in the morning. As a student I had to finish my assignments before the deadline, but aside from that I had a lot of freedom and I could study whenever I chose as long as I had access to the internet.

I really do admire people who can both work and study. It's pretty tough. Back when I was still in college, I opted not to find work but opted for a scholarship instead. That way, I was able to focus on my studies more, with lesser financial things to worry about. I had friends who did just what you do and they came out stronger and more disciplined. But, unfortunately, there were also others who opted to work instead and neglected their studies. I guess, it's all about knowing how to balance those two aspects of your life and keep a great attitude of sticking to schedules. Back then, working part time while studying was at the bottom of my list 'cause I really wanted to focus on my studies and graduate on time, so that I could get a decent job to help my family. And I did. Still, there's nothing wrong with doing two things at the same time, but a lot of sacrifices are needed to be done. Good luck.

yes, you can do it. you can work and take a collage in a row. the key: you have to smart in time management. when you were work, you should take "evening collage" or open university is recommended. I don't know is this available evening collage in your country, but in my country, most of worker who want continue study choose the evening collage or choose open university. both collage choice doesn't disturb your work, so you can work as good worker, but also continue your education as your saving in the future

Well, when I had this experience, I could only manage it if I had a lighter, easier university semester. Otherwise, I think I would have been burned out. I mean, there are people who do this, and kudos to them, but I would have gone crazy if I didn't have any personal or social life and time for myself and my hobbies...

Determination, hardwork, motivation. I think those are very important when you have to study and work at the same time. It's not entirely impossible but it will be difficult. If you are going to work part time, make sure it's not that stressful a job and it's a job where you can still find time to study.

Working while studying ? my answer is YES.. I did it! and I finished it successfully! I been working just like others, my work is under pressure, always working for a timeline.. etc. But I am working in private company and I know that nothing is permanent in this kind of job , being a regular employee is not enough assurance that my job would lasts forever and would guarantee my retirement needs, so I decided to study for another field. I did it after office hours, 3 hours a day except Saturday and Sunday. It just a short program offered to those graduates who wanted to teach, When I earned 21 units I was qualified already to take board exams for teachers, I took the board exam and I unexpectedly passed. Now I am starting to plan for this new career. So there is no impossible when you are willing..

I am going to ave my license this year. This means that I have done 6 years in the university. I worked during these 6 years without stopping. I am also having the best results among my class mates. so yeah. If you have a goal set and you know what you want to achieve, it is possible to do both. You just have to know how to balance the 2 activities.

Hi alilin! I was able to finish my college transferring from one kind of job to another and so far I was able to finish my education. However, if our parents can afford, better to concentrate on studying first rather than doing the same thing all at the same time. It was really hard but possible. Have a great day!

Working while studying is not a bad option. The reason can be different in all cases. For some it is a necessity to be able to pay the fees and keep the studies going while others might be ding some part time job related to their field of study in order to gain some exposure on the job.

Hi alilin28. I have tried working while studying. When I was in college, I was given the chance to have a job while I was still studying. Also, when I graduated and had been working, I studied for 1 semester. Truly, it is a difficult duty when we work and study at the same time. Even the night is like a day for me because I have to study the lessons. I'm just thankful that I can easily understand the topic. However, after all of those efforts, the fruits of your labor are so sweet. So alilin, don't ever think of quitting. You have to convince yourself that you need to persevere and you will surely succeed.

All I can is,its not easy but it can be done. You probably will have to sacrifice things like social time but remember its only for a while maybe one or two years and you will be done.Just plan your day well and in no time things will just work out and it will be easier to work and study.

Hello alilin! Wow, it's an interesting topic. Well, i thought it is possible, because i had a proof in my country, Indonesia especially in my town. In my town, there is a university that almost the students are workers. They work in factories in the morning. And after they finnished their work, they go to university in the evening to studies in there until at night and they enjoy their lives although i look they are so tired. And one more thing, one of them became the best graduates in there. But, it's just my story and about your question, i think it depend on you, if you work and the same time you study and you can separte your time with good, so do it! Cheers
