Hi friends, One of my nearer friend has recently found from the doctor,that he is having cholesterol problem.He has been started with medicines.He has been told for daily walking.Have you any idea about the food which can lower the cholesterol?

Omega-3 fatty acids are shown also in studies that they can lower cholesterol, plant oils and nuts are also low in cholesterol so they are advised to be used in cooking. And also exercise and good knowledge in nutrition and food choices is advised. Use cooking methods which are healthy like steaming, boiling, grilling and avoid frying and fried foods. Trim also fat of meat foods and avoid processed meats. Also avoid eating the skin of meats like chicken skin and others.

One of the main ways to reduce or lower the cholesterol level of the body is to simply avoid eating foods with high amount of cholesterol. Regular exercise is also one. Not necessarily going to the gym but a regular walk or jogging can be good. Be very conscious on the diet. Anything you put in your stomach will manifest soon.
