I admit, I love Peeps. I can not tell you how happy I am that they now make seasonal Peeps for most of the other holidays. I love marshmallows, but I also mostly can't eat them, they have corn starch... but Peeps are corn starch free! So, I'm happily eating myself sick with them... okay, I'm not, I just wish I were... I buy the purple ones when I can just because I like purple, they all taste the same to me So, I have another month to get Peeps. And since I like them stale too, I'll try to not eat them ALL but save a few for Peep-less seasons coming ahead! I have only really seen the chicks, but I don't care, I like them both/all. And I love those clever people who make Peep dioramas... heck, I like dioramas anyway even without Peeps. So, I'm in Peep heaven right now! How about you?

I am not a big fan of marshmallows. I am not a fan of Peeps. I know a few friends who let Peeps get stale. Then my friends put them in the microwave for a few seconds, then they eat the Peeps! That is a little weird but I guess it could be weirder!

I like Peeps, too, and I think the purple ones taste the best. But I haven't had any yet.

My daughter loves peeps as well. My brother introduced me to Peep Jousting. I like to look at them, but really do not care for them, as they are neither caramel or chocolate.

I try to be careful about them, not because I'm diabetic - yet anyway - but just because... I've got my own horrid cold, and I hope I soon get over it, its getting OLD!

A friend gave me heart shaped peeps for Valentine's Day. I said a polite thank you and gave them to our next door neighbor's grandchildren. Sorry, but I don't care for peeps. More for you. It is good to know that they are corn starch free, though.

I can understand why you might not like them. I was less Peep crazy when I ate plain marshmallows... don't think they'd taste too good in hot chocolate!

Not a fan but I can see your excitement with these, lol! I do buy them for my granddaughter for her Easter basket and I did get the purple one's last year. I also found some purple bunnies too. I guess my favorite candy at this time of the year is the Reese's chocolate peanut butter eggs. I try to stay clear of candy as much as possible because I could become a glutton really easy, haha.

I like Reese's peanut butter cups, but something about the seasonality of Peeps make them so desirable!

I don'teat the peeps much but i do like marshmallows. I like to roast marshmallows over an open fire or put then in the microwave. Sometimes i like to put chocolate syrup on the marshmallows. I like marshmallows in hot chocolate as well. I do eat the peeps and have before but for some reason i just don't like them as much as regular marshmallows. I guess i'm just a picky eater.

I know, I so miss toasted marshmallows, but Peeps don't toast well, the sugar has an annoying tendency to burst into flames! I also like marshmallows in hot chocolate, another thing Peeps don't do real well. Once in a while I can find marshmallows with tapioca starch instead of corn, but not very often.... ohhhh... its also Passover, need to go to the Jewish HEB and see if they have corn-free marshmallows....

Do you know what I've only just discovered that is even better than just regular Peeps, it is the giant ones. I'd actually never seen them before, but my daughter spent the weekend with her grandparents last weekend and she got to make a cake and on her cake she placed two giant Peeps. That said, I've always been one of the people that is a huge fan of Peeps. I also tend to buy the purple ones because purple is my favorite color. However, I will buy any color because there isn't a difference in flavor, it is just the color of the sugar powder that they use. I guess the question becomes, do you like them better fresh or stale?

I like peeps also, but I gave sweet things up for lent. When it is over, I will stuff myself on Easter candy. My favorite thing is probably robin's eggs. They are really just malted milk balls which you can get all year, but for some reason they tast different at this time of year.

I like malted milk balls too, unfortunately, they don't much like me. I realize that the difference between a shake and a malt is just the addition of some "malt" to the mix, but the two times I drank one, they came back, like the cheese burgers I ate at on other occasions!

Apparently I am missing something good. We have marshmallows in Europe, but not Peeps. I believe I will have to eat more chocolate for Easter to compensate.

I guess its because I can get chocolate any time, but Peeps are harder to come by.

I don't like Peeps very much... I guess I'll probably buy one of the Peep-kabobs they have for Easter baskets to stick in my daughter's basket this year but I don't plan to get any for myself. My guilty pleasure of the season is the Cadbury caramel eggs. I think my husband and I have gone through at least 20-30 of them in the last couple months.

I don't really like Cadbury eggs. I guess my folks didn't buy them or they weren't available.
