Hello Friends In the past I had enjoyed unlimited pizzas offer many times. But I never went for unlimited lunch or dinner with other food(not pizza, regular one). Just yesterday night I experienced one with my friends. Lol.. there were lots of attractions like soup, starter and great food. But I have noticed that after having soup and starter all of friends got their tummy full already. And at the end we all ended up having less main course just because of that, and all feel that we didn't able eat as per we pay. lol.. So thing is because of soup and other starters we just reduced our hunger and didn't able to eat properly.. So we decide better not to go for such meal next time. Even I thinks that with those kind of stuffs nobody can eat more even it is unlimited food with more cost.. What do you think?

I never went to any such place with unlimited food not even pizzas, but I went to order Thal which is unlimited food for one Thali payment, and there too I do not eat much expect a choice with whatever I like to eat in the menu.

I guess even I had experienced that thali, which come with lots of food choices. Well, it is surely lot of food to choose, so even in that one too we can't eat more. Well, such unlimited foods are always planned to be like that so I guess it is normal thing that people can't eat more... Well, that's what my personal experience.

Me too with the same thought, such thali and other offers are always planned so that people should shell out more but still eat less. Sometimes I still go for thali if I find some good food in menu, but not always, as it would be wasting.

Ha ha.. No it wasn't free. We have to paid more than normal charges to have unlimited food. And that also we don't able to enjoy it with fully. It is like planned system so no one able to eat more food as per decided.

Ha ha.. Well, with those all starters and soup, I don't think anybody can eat more after having them. Well, those all were just attraction, nothing much. But still we enjoyed it in the end, but we will surely not like to go for the same offer again. Instead of it unlimited pizzas offer is much more tempting and satisfying.

that is why i don't want to eat on those buffet. i don't think that i would be able to eat that much and i don't want to start with desserts and soups. i just want to start with other things beside that.

Well, here it was total different case and the system. At this restaurant food got served on the table one by one.. Starting with the soup and ending with the dessert. So we didn't have the choice for starting the food. So it was even more worse. And because of having soup and starters at the starting we didn't able to enjoy main food properly.

Well for all you can eat you should eat the most expensive foods first, and avoid cheap fillers like soup in your case as these fill you quickly not allowing you to get value for money. I think you have learned it then, to go for main course which is the main dish and more expensive in reality price.

Well, here the system was little different. Here all food got served one by one on table. First soup then starters then main food and then dessert. So it wasn't our choice from where to start. Of course it was in our hand to skip the soup and all that but we didn't as after having main food we surely can't have soup.

are you talking about buffet restaurants? if you are, then i just posted a discussion about the technique on how to get the best of buffet restaurants. one tip, if you plan to dine in a buffet restaurant, do not gobble a lot of a particular food to be able to have a taste of the others.

Well, here we don't have such restaurants more. May be rarely. Here it is different case. All food got served on table one by one. Starting from soup then starter then main course and then desert. No buffet system. So it is little complicated system and can't eat more for sure as we start from soup and starter. As our stomach got full by those two only.

Ha ha.. Surely it is funny. I know few friends who have tried such things. they used to go for diet at the morning and in the night they just go for such unlimited offer in the restaurant. And they surely eat lot and enjoy the dinner. Well, I have never think about doing such thing but well who knows about future.

Hi SJ.. I have experienced the same many time, and at the end we surely don't able to eat what we have decided. But yes everything has exception so in this case also. I know few people who can really eat lot that I can't even think about trying. he he. I guess I am satisfied with my limited food offers only.

Hey, When ever there is an unlimited food offered to us from my experience I too have felt the same way as yours that I didnot eat more at that time. But after leaving the place we feel that we could have eaten more. I feel that it is not that we didnot eat less but we actually go with a mindset to eat more for buffet. But eventually while eating as our stomach size is limited we cannot eat more than what we can. which disappoints us that we could have taken more given the fact that it is buffet.

Ha ha.. I guess that's the exact case happen with the everyone. Its the perfect answer for this thing. It is our mindset which thinks like that. But yes no one can eat more after stomach get full. And also it can be unhealthy to have more food regularly.

Hello Anand, Food is the only thing in the world one can’t go further after feeling full. So you can’t take unlimited food in one time for sure. They are serving soups on the first time to quench your thirst and hunger. Those people know well that after having soup no one can eat much. There is an option, add more people with you and order for less people so that you can take the advantages of such offer.

Hi sree.. Lol.. WE can't do that.. That one offer is per head.. So if we go 5 person we have to pay for all 5. Then only they able to eat full. Yes that is all trick to attract customers , in the end only they are the making more benefit.

Hi bro Well, you should have invited me too... I could have the food while you could have more of those soups and starters Okay, seriously, I had been to a food fest at a local Hotel last year and they had similar - eat anything any quantity stuff that day. I had more of the stuff which I loved - the Mexican Salad and Fish Tikka - I know that it is not the right combo but then, when I get to such a situation, I prefer to try out the newer things which I feel would be good and okay

Ha ha.. BRo Next time you and me for sure. About choosing food from many, well it is still okay. But here in the restaurant they were offering soup and then starters then food and then dessert(line by line). So we can't choose our self. Of course we can skip them but still no one did that on that day.

My friends and I do not go to eat all you can restaurants. They know that we will just be wasting our money because none of us can eat more than a single serving of one dish. Sometimes, we can get full just by having soup and appetizer alone. Or just the main dish alone even without desserts.

Yes.. That's the thing. I have noticed that all people just done 70% of their hunger after having starters and soup. So they can hardly eat more the main course. Same goes for desserts. This is all just schemes and formulas to attract people. In the end they are the only people who are gaining profit. We are just ending up in losing more money with less food eating.

LOL, you should have started with the desserts. I did it once with several friends. We had worked under the rain all the day, we were hungry, we chose a buffet formula with unlimited starter and desserts, we started with desserts, and I can swear that there was not a piece of cake available in the restaurant for another client after us. A week later we wanted to go to the same place to do it again, but the restaurant had removed the buffet formula after our previous experience.

Lol.. Directly with the desserts.. IN fact that is a nice idea. I guess that restaurant should have removed that formula after you.. ah ah. Well, it is nice idea. And I would surely try it out on my next visit. I hope this restaurent will not follow the same thing.
