Just about the Worst Movie I have ever seen was Australia

Australia was a very hyped movie with supposedly big name stars, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman that came out in 2008. Nicole Kidman was absolutely terrible in it and Hugh Jackman was not much better. Both of them were far out shown by the little boy who played an Aborigine kid and the guy who played an old Aborigine man. The movie was way too long. There were three times that I started to prepare to get ready to leave because I thought it was ending but then it went on for more agonizing long periods of time. I was not happy that I had wasted the free pass that I had used to see it on such a lousy movie with such poor performances by supposedly big name stars. I saw better acting by people in my high school in the senior play and these were people who had never done any acting before and were not interested in becoming actors.

Well I haven’t seen that movie, but if it’s that terrible then I’m glad that I didn’t see this movie. To see terrible movie is not really pleasant I think. If it’s DVD, I can just turn it off and change it with some other movie but in the theather I will still feel need to watch it till finished even if it’s so boring or terrible. Maybe I will just sleep in the cinema.

It's a good thing they both had successful turns in other musicals. Hugh in Les Miz and Nicole in Moulin Rouge. I've seen neither of those. And I don't want to.

The movie was quite long... they could have omitted a lot of the the scenes or plot lines... it felt like they wanted to cramp the whole of Australia into a 3 hour movie... i wish they concentrated on the story of the Aborigine boy and less on the plight of getting all those cattle across Australia... the movie would have been a lot bearable...

If you hate that movie, then we hate it even more! It wasn't very historically accurate & it made many glaring omissions. There was a huge amount of criticism around when it came out. I have actually seen much worse movies in my time. The acting was bad, but the actors are still good award-winning actors.
