Putting down my new floor

Wow this is taking long. I have one thousand square feet of wood flooring to put down. So far I'd say I have 150 square feet in in two days. Slow but steady I will be done. Looking good but a long job. My walls are on weird angles so cutting boards to size is really slowing down the process.

You're like playing carpenter. It seems like you have a lot of work in your hands there. If I was your neighbor I'd lend you a hand. I like to build stuff since I was a kid. When I was young, I used to take my toys apart and assemble them back to normal. Of course 90% of my toys never returned to normal, I was an amateur.

That is quite an undertaking! I don't envy you. The most I've ever done as far as flooring goes is to put linoleum down in my kitchen and bathroom. That's basically something you just unroll and cut along the edges. Well, the bathroom was a bit trickier going around the toilet and the old claw-footed tub I had in there. Still, that's nowhere near as tedius, precise or time-consuming as what you're doing. I hope you'll be able to take photos when it's done and share them with us!

I know that handy work can take so very much time and can be quite fiddly however the results will be worth it. I picked a flooring that looks like wooden planks. It is lino and very good for dirty dog feet coming in and children's art mess. Any spills can easily be wiped up. Good luck with completing the putting down of your new floor. The wood flooring sounds lovely.

We have yet to be able to put down wood flooring in our home yet. However, right after we bought our house we redid the entire bathroom and that was where we put in a marble floor (which I have to say that I love). I do remember that the thing that took the longest with getting the flooring down in our bathroom was the fact that there was a lot of cutting that had to be done on the tiles that we were putting down in the bathroom.
