Fortunatly I have always had enough money so I have never had to cnacel my sleep for it. But I have canceled my sleep for a lot of other reasons, including studying, correcting papers when I worked at the university, working on a story, having fun with friends and even playing online. I know that it is probably not the best, but it is what I call living a full life.

There is no way I compromise with my sleep. That's why I mostly avoid late night work for sure. But then again it is depend on work. If work is important and I have to submit or complete it on the next day, then there is no other choice to skip my sleep for late and complete the work. But yes that's come rarely otherwise I have my full sleep daily.

On extreme emergencies and circumstances, I think I can forego a couple of hours' worth of sleep if that would mean that I can earn more than usual. Money isn't everything, I know, but it is very important especially if we have a family or loved ones who are needing some financial help.

i don't like to over used my body and i will never put my health in risk,so i will choose to sleep rather than to earn money, because once my health fall down it will be gone all of us to me,so keep to have a healthy body so that we can work for more in the future.

No I don't because sleep is very important as well as money, and I feel that I do much better if I had a good nights sleep It only stands to rason that being energietic is the onloy way we can get anything done, and if we aren't energetic, then our work fails, and therefore, we don't earn much money either. It is always best to get your sleep first, so you can wake refreshed to do better work, and earn more money.

true. even if we like the work we do, there is no substitute for good health. without health, we can't earn money. the body can only stay energetic for a short time without enough rest and sleep. they may compensate with lots of caffeine and sugar, which in turn will cause more damage to overall health in the long run. and such health issue will cost them everything they had worked hard for in the first place.

There are some situation that I cancel my sleep for money to support my parents medications and food. Sometimes we need to set aside our health for the meantime to support our love ones. It's quite crazy but this is the nature of life we need to sacrifice to something like sleep to cover up the others need.

Hi Nat ! Sometimes life is just like this , health is being set aside to grab the given opportunity . This seldom happens , we need to enjoy the favor given , anyways am sure we'll not get sick also . Sometimes we need to sacrifice , to have more than what we get daily , it 's not bad at all because it is only occasional. I can't afford to waste the chance it's because i need to complete my 8 hours of sleep.

I am totally agree with you, money is not everything in our life but money is important in this materialistic world. We all know the word 'Health is Wealth',so we should keep our health in good shape.I prefer my good night sleep over earning and i always maintain that.Have a good day.

health is very important for us, money can be find I don't run after the money all the time. What if we are sick, we would have to pay more than we get.

I never give up sleep for money. i work until I'm tired and then I sleep until I wake up. So sometimes I'm awake during the day and other times I'm awake during the night. I woke up today at almost 5pm. It's 4.5 hours later I just ate a full meal and I'm feeling kind of sleepy. I'll give it another 15 minutes, if I still fell sleepy, I'll take a nap, if not, I'll keep working.

Hi Natliegleb, that depends on the age and the health of the person. Some young adults and even old people can go without sleep for a day or two without long term health damage. They probably will be very bad tempered, but they can still function. Some jobs require people on standby for long hours. I have seen some doctors in some departments on 36 hours shift. They can rest frequently, but they cannot have a full eight hours sleep. It is a matter of getting their body to get used to it.

Just for money? To some people money is pretty important. I used to work nights and was never 'energetic' about it. I hated it! They always start you on nights or they did in my case any way. So to each his own.
