Favorite colors

Now my favorite color is turquoise and I am part Cherokee indian.I have gone to many pow wow's as an adult and native american shops where I have seen many types of clothes,jewelry,decor and household items that were turquoise.
When I was a teenager one of my favorite musical groups wre matching stage outfits that were black and red.And my favorite color then was red.My bedroom was designed in black and red.
Do you think that we are influenced to have a favorite colors by what goes on in our lives at the time?

From what I've heard, psychologically we like certain colors because they make us feel certain ways. My favorite color used to be green. I love nature..I am very creative minded and passionate. For the last 15 years my favorite color has been purple. Purple gives a feeling of wealth and power..and it's the color of some beautiful things like flowers and grapes. Turquoise is a beautiful color too!

Hi natnickeep, It makes sense and I have found also that a lot of people like purple.I guess this means that a lot of people want to be wealthy!
Now,I want to be wealthy too,but my fav is still turquoise.

hi dfollin I am trying to think why purple is one of my most favorite colors and when I was growing up on tne farm in South Dakota we had a row of lovely Lilacs that bloomed all summer in the soft wonderful lilac color and one b sh was much darker with an
almost purple shade and oh so gorgeous. lovely so maybe thats what influenced my love of purple. It always makes me feel safe and comforted no matter what goes on

My mother loved the color turquoise to. She collected the jewelry to. I love it to. My faves are green, tennessee orange & purple. I don't think anyting influenced me to like these colors.

Usually I like to have my dresses of different color but to tell you frankly I like blue and maroon color the most. But while going to any party, specially in night time I always prefer black one.

I think yes, my favorite color when I was little is red, but now i like cyan or sky blue color! I think that color is the coolest, but I think torquise is awesome too! :)

My absolute favorite color is black, white and blue. But as my friends addicted to particular colors like purple and orange or pink, sometimes I found myself interest in that color too. I personally don't care what the color of my shirt or my bags or my wall, as long as it looks good it will work for me

My favourite color is gray.The color gray is a lucky color for me.I always prefer to wear dresses with some shades of gray color in it.I am not superstitious,still i feel something is there in color combination.I think some colors produce positive energies or vibration and some can cause negative energies.
