I must admit that I am tired of and annoyed with the endless columns for Apple and Samsung wish list for their forthcoming models iPhone 5S and Galaxy S4. To be honest, I felt that it is a waste of time and resources for and on everybody when these companies already have a mind of their own on what it is going to be. Now, I cannot help feeling the same with the team of admin here. I don't know why the admin would want a feedback when they already have a mind of what they want to launch or change. It is not consultative and definitely going to be like a waste of time for everybody especially the members here. Having said the nasty, I thought I'd come up with some suggestions of mine: 1. Can the admin have a "Service and Support" section where members can directly report an abnormally which will prompt the relevant department which is linked to an undisclosed specific location specifically to address the issue and deal with the problems? 2. Give advance notice when mylot will be down and inaccessible for maintenance work. 3. Set up an appraisal system for good posts from members. I know some of my friends here will be receiving this alert here and if you have some good suggestions do chip in. As for me, I believe I have said enough already.

I sometimes doubt that thee is anyone to ask about problems. One receives an email saying that the information has been received but in my case nothing has hapened for around 16 0r 17 months. I just do not receive emails and it is a pain to try to remember the discussions that I oarticpated in and then go back to check if there is something that I need to respond to again. I am just fed up with it. Peope say to change my email addy but where? I do hope that the changes will be for the better and if course the admin have decided on what they are about to do

Not forgetting the occasional unannounced system breakdown where your post simply refuse to be accepted at the other end. Only to find out that the admin system is actually having a breakdown. For the mature members, the inconvenience is not as great as the new members for starters, the former could save their posts to be pasted when the system is back up. I do not know what had gotten into and with the admin that just could not improve on this area. Then, they want to launch a new look which to be just does not make sense to me at all. Then, there's the part where I feel that the feedback here is like a wishlist which is just a wish because the admin is already all set to launch their own ideas like the iPhones and Samsung Android phones. I firmly believe that the admin should improve and tweak than add or launch new look and applications to an already behind and fault overloaded system.

I have also thought of the things that you have mentioned. But I never really summoned Mylot Admin about it. Coz I thought that maybe with the upgrading of the site, we can be able to find these changes.

Every online site needs the occasional maintenance, it is both understandable and acceptable. I believe like our occasional road works back home, I am sure advance notice should be given to the public road users to avoid it to prevent getting involved in a traffic congestion and so forth. In the case here, it would be very annoying when the servers are being shut for maintenance and members getting stuck with their postings which cannot get through to be posted. Now, if the admin had provided the advance notice by announcing on the alert or PM, I am sure members will steer clear during that time to ensure a smooth workflow. On the other end, when maintenance is not carried out periodically there will be breakdowns where the alerts for responses or comments will fail to reach the members concerned. Or, the servers will fail to process our postings. Now every posting requires our effort and time, it will be very frustrating when the site fails to function and accept our post. Now, the admin may or may not know exactly when there is a breakdown and I am taking it that they do not know because from past experiences. I am for the service and support section where it is letting members notify directly to the site admin to respond in promptly and prevent the problem from escalating. Overall, I am for upgrading and tweaks than new look and additions.
