hey guys, i had my first ship journey recently. Although the journey was for 3 hours but still it was worth a journey. I had been to Andaman for a short trip and we were supposed to go to Havelock Island so we had to take a ship ride. I thought the ride would be a simple one but it turned out to be something different. I could see water all around, the natural beauty all around, the strong wind moving around. It was so natural and truly cherishing. Even we could see the sailors and the ship drivers and the technology they use to ride such a huge ship and we all took snaps with them. he he he. I could not believe we were traveling over water and water was all around us. Bluish in color and i am falling short of words. This ship journey will always remain memorable for me. What are your thoughts about this guys? Have u ever taken a ship journey? How was the journey like? Please do share your thoughts!

When we were kids, my family and I also took a ship in visiting our grandparents in the provinces. It usually took about 18 hours before we could reach our destination. I remember getting dizzy the first time. And also there was fear coz I would be thinking that if the ship would sink, I would surely die coz I never learned how to swim! hahaha! But the experience was great!

I just felt scared and dizzy in the first trip. But with the succeeding trips, I was fine. Although now, I do not think that I would ever ride on a ship again. I don't feel that strong anymore! But really, even when I am riding planes, I feel a bit of panic attack especially when the plane encounters some turbulence. Oh God! I could really scream but just shy to do it coz people will surely laugh at me.

Ha ha ha, i can understand your issue very well and i know it is normal to have such panic in mind and i think u need to make yourself strong because u never know when u might have to travel via ship or plane for urgency. Because people r always ready to grab that opportunity as to how to make fun of others.

I am delighted to hear that you really enjoyed the ship journey. I am sure that the Andaman Islands are in credibly beautiful. I am glad that your trip will be something you remember with happiness. When I was at a further education college I went to a training vessel for one week. We slept in a cabin with girls one side and boys the other side in bunks. It was not a vacation since we had night watches to do and training exercises. It was freezing cold January. It was fine on the River Thames however once we got into the open sea if everyone felt sea sick. We made a few stops in Essex. Since then I have been on a few ferries. One was an overnight lovely ferry from England to the Netherlands. It had a swimming pool on board which my friend and I really enjoyed it. I went on a day ferry from mainland England to the Channel Islands. That was an excellent trip.

Thanks a ton for sharing your valuable response. Yeah we had an incredible trip to Andamans and the ship journey added an extra shine to this trip. Besides i think it is always advisable to take short trips especially the ship journeys as there are huge chances of getting sick. But anyways i am glad that u also had ship journeys just like me. What say?

Oh it must have been beautiful and great! I sometimes took ships, once I went with my classmates in town on a ship... it was great, we were looking at the city from the ship and talking :). Other time I was on a ship when I travelled to Greece and I visited an island. Then I got sick, because in the inside of the ship there was no air... so it wasn't motion sickness... because when I went out to the board, I immediately felt better. And looking at all the sea and stuff surraounding was truly enchanting.

Thanks a ton for sharing your valuable response. Yeah u are absolutely right, it was an enchanting and devouring trip of them all. As u have mentioned about the sickness i know many people get sick whenever they travel on ship and thankfully since we were new to ship journeys we were not prone to such sickness. Anyways all in all it was an amazing experience and i am glad that u had many such trips. What say?
