I'm having bad vibes right now, like something terrible is about to happen.

When I was 8 years old, I experienced the first death in my family. No one explained to me what happened, I was left to deal with emotions that I had no idea what to do with. I got so scared some nights that the only way to calm down was to look out the window. Nights like this didn't happen often, as I got older,I started to understand what death was about and could handle it better. Well, the past 3 nights I've had severe panic attacks, leaving me in tears, not knowing what was causing them. Last night left me not being able to sleep at all. I'm guessing that I'm under so much stress that my mind is trying to process it, but not in a good way. Right now I've got a sick feeling in my chest, and I can't shake it. I feel like something is going to happen, something bad, I just can't figure it out. I'm trying to calm myself down enough to go to bed, but for some reason I'm afraid to go to bed. I just don't know what to do right now.

You seem to be afraid of something that you don't exactly know. IN such case,if you believe God, I think the best and the only solution is to pray. Kneel and ask God to help you get over this baseless fear. If you do recognize God in your life and you have personal relationship with Him, there is no reason why He won't hear.

Yes, in situations like this praying will be the best solution. It will get you through the bad feelings you are dealing with at this moment.

Sorry to hear about your "bad vibes". Since you are alone now, all you can do is pray to God for your baseless fear/panic. Pray to calm you down, to remove all your fears, stress and worries. If you have time the following day, I suggest you go and see a doctor so they can figure out what's wrong. Be prepared also to answer all the questions they might ask because they need to know where this panic attacks are coming from.

good day to you kris182_2000, there are times, i do also feel some bad vibes just like today. and since it is not healthy to think this, so most of the time, I do ignore it. but what have happened today is not really good. as i don't want to elaborate it anymore as it likes a nightmare really.

Make yourself strong for the night to survive and in the morning consult the opinion of a doctor they are much more experienced to diagnose the true causes of your pain.

there are many things that could cause things of this sort. they are mostly intuitions, the nature trying warn you of an impending danger or trying to prepare you for something. do not be frightened of these things. sit in a calm warm place away from disturbances and meditate may be you will figure out what it is. keep us informed about the progress. we are concerned. take care...!!

At times, I am afflicted with night terrors. The main feature is free-floating anxiety, where it feels as you say like something bad is going to happen. Well needless to say, something bad is always going to happen somewhere. But it is rarely going to happen to *you* or those close to you. I hate to say it, but I solved this problem by taking over the counter sleeping pills. Some SAMe or other natural remedies can help as well. Not something addictive, or it might add to your problems.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. I read on a yahoo post that sometimes tylenol/acetaminophen that we take for pain has a beneficial effect on the neuro connections in the part of your brain that experiences anxiety and panic. So you might try that. I like to breathe in the scent of lavender oil when I am panicky or full of anxiety. Drink some herbal tea and breathe deeply. Listen to soothing music. If you have an aquarium, dim the lights and concentrate on it.

You could perhaps be having a MVP syndrome - (Mitral Valve Prolapse) a benign condition that generates such panic attacks. You could go for a check up.

So, what is really bothering you now? I mean what have you been thinking for the past days? What has happened to you for the past days that lead you to be worrying and end up having sleepless nights? Is it something about work? Is it something about a misunderstanding with a loved one?

OMG, that's so creepy. I am sorry but I am the kind of person who gets creeped out so easily. And yes, I admit I am a scaredy-cat. I don't know what your religion is, or how spiritual you are but I will suggest that you pray to have peace of mind and whatever bad omen or feeling it is that you are having right now, that the Lord take it away. Please pray for the safety of you and your family. I am not saying that it is sure that something bad will happen, it can be just a bad feeling with no basis, or something that will come true. I hope nothing bad happens to you and your family.
