That scene between Kevin and Phyllis at the coffee shop was interesting. He finally decided that the best way to describe her was as toxic. It is almost as if Kevin at the coffee shop is becoming like a bartender who people talk to about their problems and even ask for advice or he volunteers it.

Yes, I'm aware of that. There is much speculation that this means they are heading toward Kyle and Summer becoming a couple and then that Jack is really Summer's father since Nick is the only one who actually saw the paternity test results. Of course than Nick would have to try to keep them apart while trying to keep his secret.
