I kind of agree. Most people think that just because somebody's young or younger than them can't have a right opinion. And that's just stupid... just because someone is young, they could be really thoughtful and smart.

Writing as a senior, my advise would be to run your own life, and when you need help ask an older more experienced person. Young people may have learned their reading, writing, and arithmetic, but they are lacking life experience. Ask someone who has been there and done that, and has survived to live another day!

I would probably say that I agree more with my elders now than I did in the past. But I still don't agree on everything. This is a much different world than they grew up, and some of that advice that they gave is outdated and won't work. But they do give a good foundation.
