I had a terrible stomach ache yesterday to the point that I wasn't able to sleep till 6am and I still have to work at 1pm... These days I noticed that when I eat a lot, I will just wake up in the middle of the night because of the pain. I'm not even taking a diet pill although I eat whenever I want. I went to the doctor last year about this problem and he just gave me a medicine and thats all, he didn't even say anything, he just ask me where it hurts, arrggghh thats why I hate doctors sometimes. I drink warm water or tea whenever I feel like this and it doesnt really go away fast, my mother in law usually give me this organic bitter pear juice, and so far its the only remedy that works quit good for me. after drinking it I can feel like throwing up, and after that the pain will go away and I can finally go to sleep, btw I dont really like the taste of it. so what do you usually take or do when you have a stomach ache?

I usually take this medicine called emetrol its pink and has a smooth texture. It tastes better then most of the medicines out there and it helps get rid of the stomach ache quickly. Also depending on where it hurts it could be acid reflux which it hurts just below the breat bone. Or in the chest. When you have this I recommend taking something like tums or some kinda base product. Like you have acidic type and base type. Well I have heard Pickle juice will get rid of the acid reflux. Where exactly does it hurt usually? Maybe I can help you decide whether its acid reflux or just a stomach ache?

Yeah mine is actually below the breath bone, hmm I never heard of these medicines before but I'll try to look for it if they have it ere in S. Korea, I want to stock a few tablets so it will come in handy, anyway how do I made a pickle juice? just put some pickles in the mixer and water? thanks for the advise

Yeah It could be acid reflux or just a really bad stomach ache. But to make pickle juice you could just got to the store and buy it. If your country has it. But if not then its the juice that is in a jar of pickles. The juice thats left over after you take the pickles out. I don't know much about S. Korea but I am pretty sure you have almost similar products? Like jars of pickles and such? Well if not uh all the pickle juice is I do believe is vinegar, water, calcium chloride and salt. But if that doesn't help I think milk will help too. I have tried milk My cousin told me about the pickle juice. Not sure if it helps though... But that's pretty much it for making pickle juice or getting a hold of it. Just at a store or out of a pickle jar.

First of analyze why you got this stomach ache.Make a mental list of what you ate the previous day. Recall and answer me one question--did you eat any milk sweet, fried item or paneer related item when you were hungry. Did you eat some kind of food that was rich in protein and did you consume it in excess quantity? DId you eat chutney dhal or peanuts in an empty stomach? Be careful not to eat these items especially when you are hungry. If you eat food items that have extra acidic content when you are hungry ,this can happen. If you consumed pine apple heavily on an empty stomach too this can happen. Take a gelusil or digene for today. Drink water boied with cummin seeds and ajwain too. You will get relief. Keep a strict watch over your diet and do not fill yourself with fatty foods when you are hungry.

I also experienced the same thing because I was suffering from Gastritis and the pain is really terrible. It is better to seek a specialist and not just a doctor because some only cares for money you will be giving to them after your appointment. Severe stomach pain is really is really hard and I dont want to experience the same thing again. When Im in pain, I put hot compress in my stomach and I drink some antacids. I minimizes dairy products, oily foods and salty foods so the attack will be lessen. Also, do not take tea because caffeine can also just trigger the pain.

Im actually not taking caffeine, and yes tea has caffeine too. Here in korea they always like to drink tea even the water that they drink everyday has tea, every restaurant you visit, well atleast not all of them but usually good restaurants offer tea instead of water. I am just so sick of tea now.. and it makes me love water more..ahaha

as for me, i rarely experience stomach ache but sometimes when we eat a lot or anything, it can cause a stomach ache. i don't really take any medicine but i just rub lots of pain killer on my stomach, it usually takes hours for the ache to disappear but usually when my stomach aches at night when i wake up the next day i am okay and the ache had disappeared.

you might have gallstones. you would need to have an abdominal ultrasound to confirm it. mention it to your doctor and follow the preparations needed.

i have never been used to taking medicine right away when i am not feeling well. but if the pain won't stop i would take buscopan. ussually just a tablet and the pain and the cramps would be gone! its really very effective especially if you have eaten something really bad or dirty.

seems like everybody is raving about this buscopan, I really have to find this one, but its true that we should not take medicine as long as we can try too.. im always in for natural method too.. im afraid drinking medicines might have a bad side effects on me.

You might have a stomach ulcer or gallstones. You need to be properly checked out before trying any home remedy. Go back to your doctor and discuss this with him properly, this could be quite serious.

I would take buscopan tablet. But if there are no medicines available, I put hot water on a bottle and wrap it with towel. Then I would pace it on my stomach.

If you are having this problem for quite some time, I would consider finding another doctor. If it has occurred for just a short time, then I wouldn't worry about it. I get cramps in my stomach and my doctor told me I had acid reflux. My doctor subscribed pills for it. You may have another problem, so try to find out what your problem may be---that is, if it is a health problem.

I rarely get terrible stomachaches. If I do, I usually just take some green tea with honey. And after a while it goes away. Sometimes I also take some alka seltzer and by then my stomach's already settled.

How long before going to sleep do you take your dinner? try to have a light dinner and take a walk before going to bed, do not sleep after eating and take some fresh air before going to bed. I mostly have stomachache specially when I am in tension. so I noticed that the problem with my stomache is all about my tension and mind which effectes on pain of stomache.
