I am missing how these trees when the leaves of these trees were so green during the summer time. They look so stiff and dead for 5 months now. Ah, I just can't wait for the summer time, in other words!:)

It's coming soon! If you're like me, though, you'll be wishing for cool weather around the middle of summer. I can never be satisfied.

I am more used top the sun than the snow. So summer all year round for me is the THING!!!:)

I am as anxious as you for Spring to arrive! Spring officially comes tomorrow, March 20th, but we have snow on the ground! I am an avid gardener and love to grow fruit, vegetables and herbs. I look forward to Spring every year, when I can start getting the ground ready for the year's gardens. But, this year, it seems that Winter does not want to give up! We just had snow two days ago. Snow is expected in a few days from now, too! I have 70 new strawberry plants and two apple trees being delivered tomorrow and I am nowhere near being ready to plant them because of the recent snowfall. If you would like to do something I did years ago when we had what seemed like an unusually long, dreary, grey winter, it might just cheer you up. I went to a thrift store and found a large bag filled with plastic flowers, all kinds and colors. I bought that bag, climbed up on a ladder and attached all the flowers to one of the trees I had growing outside, closest to my house. My neighbors thought I was crazy for doing it but they all admitted that it really did cheer them up. Not one of my neighbors could look at my tree and not smile. Don't worry, Spring is right around the corner. We should all be seeing buds of new growth on the trees very soon.

That was a crazy funny idea. I wish this snowfall yesterday is the last one or else I am going to do your clever suggestion too.:)

That is one of the reasons I'm grateful for living in Puerto Rico you see alot of green all year round. It makes for a beautiful scenery especially when looking out your windows. I look out any of my windows surrounding my house and I see green trees. I love it and can truly understand you wishing for summer. I lived 53 of my 56 years in New York and truly know what you are going through. I hope Spring and then Summer will be there for you shortly.

Thanks lelin1123. I come from a tropical Asian country and staying here in Europe now for three years has been a torment in the winter time.:)

Well, my trees AGAIN are covered in white! We had another snow storm last night and it's not over yet. I'm sick of snow and want to see the sun, grass and green trees. It was supposed to be an early spring but that didn't happen. Here's to green trees!
