I just can't believe that I am already graduated from my undergraduate studies. I am a fresh graduate from my course. I am so happy and also sad. Happy because finally I can now work since and help my parents. Sad at the same time because I will miss my batch mates whom I have known for many years in my entire college life. Now I will face another challenge in my life. This is what we call job hunting. I am still in search. I'm taking my time. I hope I will land a job if soon. As of now I am enjoying my vacation. After this, I will proceed to finding a job. I don't want to end up unemployed. I hope God is with me. I am so happy to be back mylotting! :)

Congratulations! And at the same time, welcome to the adult life! Enjoy your vacation first. Take a break for maybe 2 weeks before you start your job hunting. Its a tedious, tiring process so enjoy as much as you can now :)

Thank you ayeeesha. Indeed, after my graduation I stayed in the house for a week and after that I tried to go to a job fair just for fun and also to see if companies will hire me. I will not just tell about it because I am shy. Anyway, I really want to extend my vacation but vacation for me means I will just stay home. It's really boring at home. I want to be productive so I decided to do something.

It doesn't matter whether you stay at home first. Atleast you'll be able to get some rest before your serious job hunting begins :)

I would like to be a little philosophical.Your student life has not ended. We remain students till our last breath, because even after leaving our college we keep learning from our experiences. And I feel, our real student life begins after leaving our colleges. It is then that we learn real lessons of life. However, please accept my congratulations.I wish you a resounding success in life.I can understand how much you would miss your classmates now on.But that's life,my friend. Here people come close to each other, become friends and then a day comes when they depart. All my best wishes.

Thank you flowerchilde. I am already in my 2nd week of training of my first job. I hope I will pass the certification next week because I badly need it. I will really be very happy if I pass. My mother would be very happy too. When I pass, for sure I will help my parents and give back.

I wish the best of luck in finding work. I also know what it feels like finishing college since I just graduated with my second Master's degree and have not been able to find work myself. Just keep on trying hard and do the best you can.

I know the feeling my friend. But you will soon realize once you have a job already, that friends' gathering will be much more colorful and enjoyable once everyone will already have a job. You can start scouting for a job now. There are a lot of graduates now, so the job market will be deluged with applicants. So better be ahead of the others. And in between the job hunting , enjoy Mylot.

Thanks SIMPLYD. Searching for jobs is like a competition. There are a lot of job seekers in one particular job. You must get it first before others will grab it from you. I must be ready!

Hi Congratulations! and welcome to a stressful life of being an employee... It's good that you have that sense of direction, that you want to get a job soon to help your family.. but before that just enjoy for the moment your vacation because seriously working is not like heaven.. sometimes it's like a hell .. ( LOL ) just giving you the reality. But it's okey what really matters is that you want to earn to help your finances so it is natural to work hard...

I am not sure how I will feel when I eventually stop becoming a student in a couple of years time.Part of me is excited about getting a job and building a life for my self.Though I realise that it is going to be a massive change.Though the worst thing will not be seeing my friends from uni anywhere as much while I am at uni I see them everyday it will be a massive change. It feels weird when we just go home for our holidays I can't imagine how it will feel when this way of life comes to an end.

You are so correct. I miss my friends in college already. I don't see them as often. Learning doesn't stop there. Everyday I am learning something and I believe this learning will make a big impact in my future. It is very important for me to be able to pass all these trials because I want to prove something not just to myself but for others.

Its a good thing for you graduating. As for me, I am still quite worried on my grade on some of my subject. I do not want to shift or stay in my course for another year. I hope I can make it through!

Congratulations on your graduation! Finally, another chapter of your life is close, and I am sure that your parents are so proud of you. Now, you can sit back, relax and rest. No more tests, quizzes, papers and projects to turn in. BUt after a while, you have to face the real world out there and try to join the working force. Good luck!

Congratulations! I hope you manage to find a job with your degree. It is quite difficult to find these days, unless you did volunteering or a co-op, and even then sometimes... That is the sad thing that education cannot guarantee a job in your field. Hopefully in a few years more jobs will open up and all graduates will be able to find something. Best of luck in your future endeavors, and I hope all goes well :)

I really had difficult time after graduation because I don't know yet what should I do although I had plans already. It turns out that I went from a lot of job agencies and companies where they have vacancies. Indeed, it isn't that easy.

i was like you back then when I graduated collage. I am happy because I surpass all the stressful stuff of homeworks, drawings, exam, report, etc. but then I'm a little bit sad & nervous as well for I had to face the real world of earning money, budget, paying billse etc. :) well you have to enjoy your vacation and also take a lot of sleep cause you might be missing it when you got a work.. enjoy life =)
