What cause of appendix disease?

Hmm I want to know what cause of appendix? My mom angry when I very late to eat and not eat in time. She always say about appendix when I eat very late. Sometime I only eat in afternoon sometime I only eat in night if it have delicious food I will always eat.

Even I say about that thing to her she will not trust me. She will still say the cause of appendix is because not eat in time.

I am not a doctor but I remember the books and my teachers mentioning that not eating properly would not cause appendicitis rather, it would cause you ulcer as whet happened to me. The thing is I hate it because I have ulcer and yet I am fat. It's somehow ironic.

Same with the ulcers. It doesn't mean you are fat, then you have no right to have ulcers.

This is the main reason why we need to be educated more about health. There are a lot of sites that can help you prove yourself to your mom. It's an old-wives tale and should be re-visited.

According to doctor, appendicitis, is most common among in teenagers and young adults, is due to inflammation of the appendix together with obstruction of its intestinal opening. Surgery is essential for appendicitis victims and don't worry and few risks are connected with appendicitis; however, there will be the danger of rupture and the spread of infection, if surgery is further delayed.

My sister get appendix a years ago. She think it not serious and not think this is appendix. Luckily it not to late and she can be treated.

I agree that we must try to eat on time as those are healthy habits. But they have nothing to do with appendix disease or other illness. Probably they can cause digestive disorders, maybe weight loss or too much weight and so on.

I have my appendix removed already. Appendix is just an accessory organ means its means no known function. Removal of the appendix appears to cause no change in digestive function. The cause of appendicitis relates to blockage of the inside of the appendix. The blockage leads to increased pressure, impaired blood flow, and inflammation. Most commonly, feces (poo) blocks the inside of the appendix. Also bacteria or viral infection and causes the lymph nodes to swell. If not treated it can rupture which can be so toxic to your overall system. Mine was not ruptured thank goodness. xx

Appendix disease is very dangerous if not treated. My sister before this get appendix luckily it not late and she can get treated.
