England beat helpless San Marino 8-0. It was a good team effort, with Defoe socring 2 and leading the way. It was almost a one sided affair. It looks like they will top the group now. But they will have to fight to the end to achive that. They have a young team but with time they can get beter. Please let me know guys what you think of the match and their chance of topping the group. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Before everyone starts to put England as the world-beater they ain't, San Marino does not provide a good enough test. In fact, anything less than a hammering is expected. No doubt, a win is always a good result.

8-0 is a one-sided affair any way you look at it. :) For England with the ongoing Rio episodes and the defensive backline problems, this was exactly what the doctor would have ordered. A morale boosting one-sided hammering of a fledgling side. Cheers! Ram

I think if britain can beat san marino 8 -- with the scores of 0, it is commonly because it is team weak, san marino while england although the majority, with young players but britain is english. Despite playing with san marino english their opponents, not underestimated the best teams still roy hodgson drop. English now ranked first but montenegro could come back overtake them for the delay in montenegro.
