American Idol's most powerful vocal performer, Jessica Sanchez, was back @AI, and she recounted is a clip about her huge billboards, varied modelling stints, and a recent concert @SmartAraneta where she received a thunderous warm standing ovation. The teener knows now why she is Filipino, not only because of her blood but more so because the Filipinos love her and is very proud of her.

Jessica Sanchez's AI guesting last week sent chills to my skin. Goosebumps galore! Her guesting was even more "fantastic" and eventful than Phil Philips', at least that's what I personally think. Well, Philips did get a quadruple platinum award on stage. But Sanchez's video clip showed the magnitude of her AI success (so far), and she got to perform with one of the US' top R&B performers, NE-YO. Bravo!

I have to agree with that. I guess she only realized what her impact was to us Filipinos here. She was much loved and appreciated despite her knowing very little of her Filipino heritage. But now I think she appreciates her being a Filipino more than before.

A lot of filipinos and even people from other countries are very proud of jessica. She has this powerful voice and great personality that makes her a star. I'm also very glad of her success because she deserves it. She has the talent and we could all see that.

That's how us, Filipinos support our fellow Filipinos. Some would quarrel with others just to defend their idol who is a Filipino, specially when others would try to discredit them.
Jessica has a very beautiful voice. That's why the Filipinos love her so much, even if he has been in the US since her childhood.

She wont't be that famous if she is not a Filipino, that is the thing that she has to be grateful for. I like Jessica Sanchez and I really wished that she won the title. I know she'll do good in the music industry. I just hope that she won't always forget that she owes a lot to the Philippines.
