I came across a TV show called "1001 Places to Visit Before You Die" where the show features different must-see places around the world. I must say, the places they went to are magnificent and to die for! It really makes me want to go and visit it myself when money permits :) Which made me think, what do you think are the BEST places one should see before dying? Share your thoughts! :)

Hello ruchandhawal, I am surprised and greatly happy reading your response. I am in Kerala. I think visiting Kerala isn't expensive and needing more days for a person in India [Aren't you in India?] Then, what make you to delay it and include in rare ambitions to be achieved in lifetime?! I have made a request to your friendship. Hope that you see it.

Hello ayeeesha, Kerala is a small state in South-West coast of India. I am in Kerala. Kerala is known as "God's own country" " Ten paradises in the world" etc among travelers. It may be due to natural beauty of the region, hospitality of local people, less expensiveness etc.

It is very pleasure of thinking about travel around the world for everybody if they gets time to set a plan to go in convenience of their budgets. I have a plan to go to some holy places of Allah and Jesus... We have to visit all the holy places around the world before we die. We have take our entire family to all places where we planned to go. There are so many beautiful places to visit for a human being. Let me know all about the 1001 places to visit on a tv show....

Hi gamyam! The episode I saw earlier was about the different places in Mexico where they featured a lot of resorts and beaches. It really is a dream for everyone to be able to travel the world. The only thing stopping them is the budget because travelling can be very expensive.

A have been to three beach places in Mexico and they are beautiful. Theu have the added pleasure of having historic sites to visit nearby. As for Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City) the biggest city on earth, is a place you can visit several times and there`s still more to see. I have been there 4 times and don`t get tired of it.

Hi marguicha! :) How was your travel experience in Mexico so far? Based from what I've seen and heard, Mexico is a good country to go to, with lots of wonderful beaches :)

I think I saw that several years ago. I would love to see Mackinac Island and stay at the Grand hotel and participate in the fan club meeting of Somewhere in Time that was shot there on the island. Fans were vintage clothing and probably see the movie which was and is wonderful. If you haven't seen it you should.

Mackinaw Island is apart of the state of Michigan located in Lake Huron. Just east of the Mackinac Bridge that connects the lower and upper Michigan peninsulas. The island contains 70 miles of paved roads and dirt trails. About 3.8 square miles(9.8 km) in land area and 8 miles in circumference

I have a whole list of places I want to visit before I die. Ireland is at the top of the list. I want to see stonehenge. And I want to straight up move to Alaska. That has been my dream since I was 10, but I'm willing to settle for a place like Oregan or Washington as well. But, I was to live out back from people and live off the land. This has also been my dream since I was young. I like living in the city because I'm protected from stupid people. You know, the people that are living crazy messed up lives but think it's okay to call the police on you because they saw you carrying in leftover chicken in alluminum foil... True story! I got sick of living in the county because of that so I took a hiatus from the so called quiet life. But, I'm a country girl at heart and I'd love to live boonies!

For me, I want to go to Mecca :) I really want to see the Holy Ka'aba. Then next is to Palawan. WE should not be a tourist of our own country so better to start going to amazing places here in Philippines. Palawan is a nice scuba diving place. I really love scuba diving seeing the coral reefs and the wonders of the sea. :)

wow i have a long list on my bucket list to fulfill. it's not so much a place to visit. it's rather something i want to do. however, some of the things can only be done at very specific places. on the top of my bucket lists is to see the two auroras. both the aurora borealis and the aurora australis. to do so, i need to travel to as far north/south as i can. i definitely can't afford a trip to the poles so i guess norway and new zealand will be where i'm going. other places i want to visit is the forbidden city in china, an elephant sanctuary in thailand, the cat island in japan and if money permits, the safari in africa. there are just so many things to do and places to see, the only limits are money and time.

That tv show sounds really interesting. I once read a book with the same title and it inspired me to add many new places to my travel wish list. My list is already very, very long and I think that my list will continue to grow in the future The places in my own list are almost every country in Asia, several countries in Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, the Gambia, Senegal, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana etc) many of the countries in South America, some of the countries in Central America and the US. I also want to visit some of the countries in the Caribbean Sea and some of the countries in the Pacific Ocean.

I might sound a bit too optimistic but I would like to visit space and look at our gorgeous planet. This is the only thing I want to do before I die. Places on the earth can be visited with no problem. But space is where I want to go.

My list has changed a lot since I got ill a couple of yesrs ago. It seems that there are places where I will not go ever. Machu Picchu was one of the places I wanted to visit, but I would have to find someone to go with me now. I have several ideas, but at this time of my life I want peaceful places and meeting new people.

There's something about the seas that makes some people feel good. And you're not the only one who wants to travel around the world. Surely, there are many of us who would want to enjoy life and visit different places :)

I would like to see as many places as I can before I die. I've never been to Africa or South America. And I would love to travel around China and India and Europe. I would like to see the amazing sites and be amazed as well with ordinary places and how people live their lives. My cousin once told me that he does not need to travel since he can see the pictures of these places and I was shocked. Of course, you can't expect everyone to be the same.

Every person has a different perspective when it comes to travelling, but that's their choice, of course. I would love to go to Europe too. Maybe when I'm 50, I can go on a European cruise with my family. SO I better start saving now :))

I've always wanted to see Japan! I love the japanese culture. Young people respect the elderly, every tries to be as nice as possible, and plus if you're a manga or anime fan, it would be a must to see something like Tokya or Nagoya! :)
