Since easter is coming, I want to show you some eggs (real and false) I made 2 years ago. They are Styrofoam eggs made with fabrics. I really enjoyed make them, especially at the end, when I had to add some details, like bows :) They are reallynice, especially if you love to decorate your house during the holiday season! Unfortunately I did not buy other styrofoam eggs, so I have only a few of them. Do you like them?! :)

Those are really lovely. I've done some Christmas ornaments that are Styrofoam but never got into Easter eggs. I guess because I have issues with the fertility symbolism of them.

I actually like to stick pins in things so I'm a sequin ball type gal.

Those are darling! I may have to find some and do them up with my children at daycare. I am always looking for fun things to do with my toddlers. They probably won't turn out as pretty as yours but it would sure be fun to watch them try!

The eggs look great. I have some eggs that I will make deviled eggs out of. I do not eat deviled eggs myself, but since we are going to my parents house I know my niece loves them and if she had her own way she would eat them all. I love the fabric. There are many uses for fabrics and I love learning new ways to use it.

Those look really pretty! I have never heard of using Styrofoam to make Easter eggs. The fabric was such a great touch. I have always just used hard boiled eggs for decoration, and plastic ones for hiding for kids. Thank you for sharing! I might have to give these a try this year!
