I mean common!! There is hardly any humor, the only action is in bed ,stupid convensations and you dont learn anything. It is brainvomit!! All it is a bunch of people who wants to be on tv and do whatever it costs to get their 15 min fame. Dont they have any selfrespect? (I know i can choose not to watch, thats not the point)

I think we've had enough, but as long as quite a few seem to mean that there's not enough, they will make new ones. Which means that we have to continue making choices like not watching :-) One of the many strange aspects is why they call it reality TV show, as most of them are really quite far away from reality. I usually avoid watching them, and when I have (when visiting friends for example) I complain loudly most of the time. Or just stare in scared awe ;-9

Just now i read some news and there was an articel about paradise hotel. It was about something some guys had said about another guy who was there, they didnt see him as competition since he was ,i quote "fat and uggly" Shouldnt that sceene been cut out of the show. I guess then its not reality as they call it. But i guess it is just another example of the airheads that these shows.

Yes, I do agree with you. There are way too much reality t.v. shows on t.v. right now. I guess it really does come down to the bottom line since they are so much cheaper to produce than the regular scripted shows. I am really getting tired of watching reality t.v. shows and talk shows in the daytime now. So I would much rather watch the scripted shows on the internet online streaming.

The sad part about it is that people actually watch this garbage. I know we all got diffrent kind of taste and thats great but shouldnt we have some standards atleast?

Flav of love, rock of love, the bachelor, match makers..don't even get me started on snooki and jwoww (really, who wants to be known by a name like that anyway??) But it wouldn't be on the airwaves if it didn't have an audience. I'm more content with the history or the military channel.

I so agree with you. I use to watch alot a tv at nighttime now I'm down to only 5 scripted shows a week. Which in reality boils down to two on Monday, one on Tuesday and two on Thursday. That is five hours a week of tv. If I'm watching anything else it is movies from my Apple TV. TV producers should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to put on brainless TV shows. These people are all just looking for fame the wrong way. I know I would rather be famous for going to a school of art to learn my craft and be in a well scripted show then a brainless reality show with no morals or respect. Its a shame that this is how stupid society as gotten. There has to be alot of brainless people out there watching this crap, for reality shows to still be around.

I actually agree with you JanEdward. Daytime TV is pretty bad about having only reality tv or talk shows which I consider to be reality TV. I am kinda getting tired of Maury only showing paternity test type of shows or Steve Wilkos only showing Lie Detector type of shows. I guess society is really that messed up. I guess reality shows is what is easiest to produce and cheapest as well. Bring on more of the Simpsons so I can get my laughs.

But they cross a line all the time, one program is worse than the other. Whats next? Steven Kings book "the long walk" becoming a reality show???
