Holi, the festival of colours is here, everyone enjoys and celebrates the festival and we are ready to celebrate it. Now like every time, this media is giving a back stab against holi too. Yes, media always mock at festivals and encourage people to not to celebrate them, holi too is not spared by this very media. This time media's excuses are- Holi colours are harmful This festival waste water very much Hooligans play in this festival My decision- We use natural gulal and not chemical, why media don't object using of chemical colors? Water is wasted every day in soft drink plants (1 liter of coke or pepsi requires hundreds of liter of water for preparing), why media do not object this? Millions of liters of water are wasted on movies and swimming pools, why media have no objection? Hooligans are celebrating festival or destroying it? Media want to create link between hooligans and social festivals? So what do you think? We have to protect our culture and festivals, or not? I am going to play more this time and all my friends have the same thought.

Holi always looks spectacular, colourful and gloriously messy. I'd love to join in one year - not wasteful at all compared to industrial abuse of water resources

This is nice, festivals are to enjoy with spirit, it would be waste to not to celebrate festival. Indian Media always come up with excuses to not to celebrate.

Hi, It is true that some people use oil colors which have chemicals that are harmful to our skin, or some people use balloons of water which can be injurious to our eyes, or we should not waste water. All this we have to remember. But we should should celebrate holi by keeping this in our mind. We should not bother about media. The holi is the festival of enjoyment with colors and we should celebrate it with taking proper care.

Who is the media? Is it different from the mass? If media is not reflecting the interest and better things of a mass, then we need to be skeptic about attitudes.
