As kids, we tend to loose our personal belongings wheather its at school or a public place somewhere...and sometimes we totally forget where we put things. Im no exception! Yesterday I had so much to do and I lost my wallet. I swear I did not leave it at the supermarket but I might have...u see my daughter likes to hide things and right now shes asleep. I need that wallet because Im going to change purses...3 favorate purses i like to use and every now and then I like to switch 'em out. I woke up my husband and he started helping me look for it and i told him a white lie that I found it when in fact I didn't find it. i said that so he can go back to bed because he has to work late . so i didn't want him to worry, especially while he's working. The other day I opened another bank account and I lost my temporary bank card. I called and cancelled so no one will use it if it is stolen...and then I loose my wallet..! Not good. But now that I got to thinking...maybe i threw it away; by accident. Have you ever lost anything like this? maybe someone went in my car and took my purse..because I leave it unlocked like 2% of the time. I guess I have to report my drivers liceness and all my cards as stolen/lost. that way I wont be reliable if any money is missing. Well have a gr8 day my fellow mylotters!

Hey Mavic. You took the words out of my mouth (or out of my fingertips to be more precise, and sound stupid :) But verlop, I agree, you sound overwhelmed and distracted and some downtime could help. Other than that, try not to multitask too much and don't let people or things interrupt you. I always boast of a great memory and can remember most things without even reminders, but once I got so stuck and my assistant was like you told me, to do this, or not to do that, and oh you forgot, you forgot again, I got mad at her but figured out it was because she would interrupt me all the time when we were talking and that thought would not be logged in my brain. Once she stopped interrupting, I was back to normal. It still happens now when I am interrupted but I am aware and write down stuff when I have a doubt that it might fly away. Basically, live in the moment and you will be in so much more control And don't wait to find your things to go to the spa. Find a way to go now, and prevent more crazy stuff from invading your life.

Hello :), well I guess most of us will probably experience things such as this in our lifetime. I remember when I was a kid, our family went to the supermarket to buy some grocery then after shopping, we are on the parking lot, only to find out that my father left his keys inside his car and it was locked. When I was in high school, I remember forgetting to bring important school materials required at school and there was also a time when I forgot to bring my PE uniform or basketball uniform, fortunately my father returned home and brought it to me, though he was really mad. And probably a lot of other similar stuffs have happened to me and my family, I have been pickpocketed while riding a public vehicle as well. Anyway, the best thing for you do now is report to the authorities regarding what happened, especially to your bank regarding your lost credit cards etc.

Oh my gosh! I have locked my keys in my car too...several times. That's why I have 3 sets of keys lol! I always tell myself I'd rather have it and not need it then not have it and need it. Once when I had my whole family over for a party I lost my keys and this was when I just bought my car. I was almost due to have my baby and I was freaking out! So I had to have a copy made which costed me $80! Later on I found it and then I had my baby sometimes I can remember where I put things and sometimes I can't grrr! that child in the photograph...is she yours?! she's beautifull!

Lolz 3 sets of keys, but I guess that's better than sorry. By the way, I am a guy and the child in the photograph is me :) when I was 2 or 3 years old, it was taken from my grandparent's place, where they used to dry coffee beans by placing them under the sun. :).

The only time I've lost some money was way back in high school. I didn't have any purse with me at that time and decided to put my money allowance in my pocket (skirt). After a few hours when I was about to buy something, when I reached in my pocket, the money was already gone. I must have been a bit careless and the money fell out of the pocket.

Speaking of pockets when I was 16 our church went to a theme park and I had like $100 that I had to split between me and my siblings. After I did that, we went on a roller coaster and I forgot that I had my money in my shirt pocket and i ended up loosing that money And then what was even more shocking was I heard someone talking about how this money just flew in said hands. I did get my money back tho but my brothers wanted to beat this guys up for giving me a hard time. That was the last I ever went on those kinds of rides

Oh... you have to be more careful from now. In Malaysia, if we keep loosing our identity card, it will have a numbering to state how many times we have lost it. It could be blacklisted in the future. It is quite troublesome to do police report, to the back for replacement etc. I hope you can find your wallet soon.

I haven't really lost stuff as a kid, either. As an adult, I once lost my phone, but it was found, fortunately and my students ID. But at home, I always have a hard time finding my stuff, because sometimes I put stuff in the wrong places, or I don't remember where I left them :D.

That's what I do sometimes! Like a couple of time I found my keys in the freezer! And my socks! And the. When I try to mentally retrace my steps, I can't seem to recall where I've been or even how those item got there. However, in the past week I have learned to have a check list mentally that is So far it's been working.

Yeah, you should immediately call your bank and DMV to report your missing cards and IDs and about the stolen wallet. That's also the first thing that I would do if I learned that I lost mine. I only experienced losing my wallet one time while I was in college, well it was actually pick-pocketed. To be specific, some men on the metro rails slashed my purse with a blade or knife. When I stepped off the platform in my stop, I noticed that my bag was torn and my wallet and cellphone were gone.

Oh my! Thank The Lord nothing terrible happened to u. Just a ton of emotional stress I bet:( I think that if there comes a time when I move to a huge city, instead of taking my purse with me, I'd stick it under my top!

I once lost my debit card. My dog, Secret, chewed it up. I had to go to the bank and get some money from the teller at the desk. The worst thing I have ever lost is my electronic car key. That was complicated and expensive to get another one made. In the end I did find that and I keep my spare key safely. A few months ago I lost my sports center membership card. I had to pay three pounds to get a replacement card. I can't find my best and most comfortable sports bra. This May and June we are traveling by train from England to Ukraine. We have some many train tickets it is hard to manage. It essential that I don't lose any of them or our passports. I keep my Family and Friends Railcard in my every day handbag.

I am so sorry it has taken me a month to write back! Plz forgive me?! As for my lost things, I never found them. I did report them as stolen but unless someone uses my drivers licenes number then I may have to get a new number. I just hope that one day-soon- someone would invent a devise that would help us locate something like our keys..! Lets keep dreaming, right!?

I also have the same habit of changing my purse, but haven't lost any of it. Yes, I forgot other things- but not my wallet or bank card. Be careful next time especially with important things to avoid trouble.

I have lost my debit card a couple of times and once had my purse stolen. Luckily I was at the mall and was able to cancel my two credit cards. I kept my ID card in my pocket as well as my money so I was lucky. I also gave my mom my debit card and my Master Card so I would not spend any money on it and am glad that I did. I am sorry that you lost your wallet and hope that nothing gets charged on your cards.

Me, too. I sometimes forgot some things. It really happens to any person. But I haven't lost a wallet. In your case, report immediately. Criminals use all sort of cards as soon as they can. They might use it for their crimes.

Oh I'm sorry! I think we have all done this a time or two I know I have. I was at the store went to pay for the things I purchased and realized my wallet was not in my purse so I couldn't pay. I was freaking out, thinking someone stole it. I was panicked. I went home to look for it and thank God it was on the floor, it must have fallen out of my purse. I really hope you find your wallet soon! I know how it feels to lose it, that is a terrible feeling...

Kids often loose stationery items in school even I used to loose some items, but not too often. I don't remember loosing money, wallet or any important paper anywhere. I think you need to be more careful with your belongings. For now yes, you must report your licence been stolen/lost. Always double check the car doors before entering the supermarket and even after returning home.

I didn't loose many things when I was little but for some reason people were always stealing from me. Now that I am older I loose things all of the time, my keys, glasses, phone, etc.

If you have this habit, it is a good idea if you reduce your activity in one moment, so you can keep your valuable things. Reducing your activity will help you to focus on your wallet. Yes, too much activities and thoughts allow somebody forget with something, although it is very important such as wallet. i also experience this case, and I try to reduce my activity. Fortunately, after i apply the tips I never lose my valuable thing.

Most of the time, i lost my things when i'm drunk, just recently i lost my mobile phone and my wallet, i'm so upset i lost all my visa and mastercard because it was in the wallet, i don't care about the mobile phone because i can buy it. All i care is my cards, because i'm so lazy when it comes to processing documents or things. After what had happened, i'm now conscious when it comes to drinking session, when i attend a party i left all my valuable things in my house, i only bring enough money in my pocket. Lesson learned

I have a shirt that I haven't found until now. I lost it 2 years ago. I think the laundry lady misplaced it or something. That's also when we started to count our clothes before we send them to the laundry so we won't miss anything.

Unless you can hire somebody to remind you every now and then, you have to have presence of mind all the time. I heard this story that when a woman already gave birth or had undergone major operation, there is a tendency that she will become more forgetful. I also tend to forget things most of the time. So in order for me to get so much problem be cause of this, I have my own way to address this things. I do not keep on changing bags or if ever I have to, I will prepare all my things in the evening. Secondly, I have a coin purse which I had prepared so that I will not be opening my wallet every now and then. Have a wonderful day!

We would lose each other if we were not attached at the hip.. every time we turn around something is lost and it has torn to the point that we have wet places to put the things that are most important so that we can't lose them yet we sometimes still seem to lose tho things aswell.
