Internet connection is very slow from past one week

Hi all, From past one week i have experienced slowness in internet. Some sites are not opening and some are very slow. Yesterday i saw in news stating that there is a global internet by cyber attack. some site has sent anti-scam mails. That's the reason internet is not working properly worldwide. I don't know for how many days it will take to resolve this problem. Hope so every thing goes well.

The internet is not only slow. Most of the time there isn't any connectivity and I have to repeatedly call the service provider. Thanks for the info. I won't feel so frustrated now when the connection slows down and I can't visit websites. My only hope is for them to resolve the issue immediately as it is interfering with my research work.

I was having the same problem too. Sometimes it is fast but most of the time it is very slow that it doesn't load properly. I thought it was my modem connection because I don't know there's something global cyber attack going on.

Today also i faced the same problem .It is very slow. Sometimes websites does not open. I think this is a major issue faced all over the world. This is frustrating.

Oh my gosh. I did not know that. It is my first time to hear about such news. Cyber attack? You mean worldwide? Oh my gosh. How could people do that thing? They are so heartless.

Some mischief people have done this kind of rubbish work. One day or the other they will be caught. This who have no work will do all this things.

Yes even i have the same doubts in my mind, i got so pissed off yesterday with the internet speed that i felt clueless about whom to contact about this issue. then i read about the global cyber attack which terrified me to the core. i think the situation is much better than before and i hope everything gets back to normal in the coming days.

Yes hope so all issues are solved quickly. In today's world without internet there is nothing. We all are dependent on internet. 90% of our daily activities are related to internet.

My internet is always slow. Its okay today but some days there is nothing to do for it. I haven't heard anything about a global slow down? That sounds pretty radical. I don't know how that could happen.

I had the same problem with my computer, my computer was running really slow, so I had opened it up, and I saw there was a lot of dust in my computer, so I cleaned out my computer,and when after cleaning out my computer, I notice the speed didn't pick up so I downloaded another browser, and that is what changed everything, for me it was the web browser Orca, that made all the different, with the speed of my computer, you should try it.

The problem here is global cyber attack. That has made internet very slow thus making system also slow. I think the concerned parties should do something about this issue and try to resolve it as soon as possible.

mansoak my computers acting up some today so wondering if the cyber attack has hit here as my response was completely deleted and I was brought back to an empty box and am retyping again. copy I ha e not noticed any slowness as I HAVE TIME WARNER CABLE JACK RABBIT FASTEST THEY HAVE BUT ON MYLOT ITS SLOWER

For me also the same problem. To log in it takes hell lot of time. Even mylot is also slow due to internet breakdown.

hi mansoak I hink its not hit California as I have no trouble getting onto the net an d all sites but mylot which is naturally slow. I have cable internet jack rabbit by T ime warner and its pretty fast too.I read about the cyber attack but I do not think its bothering southern California.
