DREAMs, everyday you dream when you sleep or take a nap. whether its good or bad dreams. Some of them i've totally forgotten, whenever i wake up. Because of that I bought a note book and write there the dreams ive remembered its just so funny that when i re-read it, there are some of my dreams are repeated.. I believe that DREAMS has meanings, the thing is that it HAS so many meaning.. anyways just for the record, i always had it beside my bed. just in case because too deep sleep i woke up knowing i had dreams but cant remember it at all. ^^ I can use some of them in my story writing.. That's why i recommend that you had it with you JUST LIKEa simple DEAR DIARY and SLUM BOOK!!

I have had one for years next to my bed, wrote a dream down after I dreamed it and woke (partly) up.. then went back to sleep.. next morning I read them all could not remember the biggest part of them.. but was able to understand them all plus the messages.. it helped me a lot at that time. At this moment I don't need that anymore.

dreamlike - this would be a nice dream!
Well I am too lazy to write down my dreams when I wake up! So no, I don't keep a dream diary. Something weird happens to me though- when I am tired and relaxed and about to fall asleep, my dreams from the previous night come rushing back to me, even if I had forgotten them. Sometimes it feels like a big wave and it even hurts my head sometimes! Dreams have always been a subject that scientists just could not figure out, but I read an article recently about Japanese scientists creating a machine that can actually read a person's dreams! They say that when it is further developed, it will be able to be used in treating patients' nightmares. It is really interesting stuff!

This is very interesting. I never thought of it. I also did post something here about remembering dreams. Because there are times that I thought, a particular dream is worth remembering upon waking up but as soon as I realize that I have to hurry up to prepare for work then I just loose it instantly. I try to remember it sometime in the day but I just could not anymore. I also mentioned that dreams, like what you said, are out of reality events and images that are very good material for writing prose and poetry. I still do remember a couple of dreams that could not get out of my mind. But somehow, whenever I tell them to people then I kind of get mixed up on which image is right for each story.lol.

I don't. I mean, I tried to do it, but I got lost halfway through. Sometimes like 5 minutes after I wake up, I forget even those moments which I actually remembered when I woke up. And then, I either don't remember a thing, or I remember just some random scenes, which I can't conmnect to each other, because they don't make any sense...

Hmm, maybe you could also do what im doin'. I mean if you just want to do it. haha because, I LOVE remembering dreams and i like to take notes of those ive remember so far..For me i used this as a source as well as to read when im bored,,you can also leave this as a memory you had..coz we dunno when and where we will last..anyweiz SOME of the dreams are repeated some had continuations with them and some of it had messages.. maybe halfway you remembered that "someone's " with you or you recall in that dream a place you've never been before.. then be surprised when something like it had...or when you go to a certain place that felt youve been there before..

Interesting idea. I have never thought to right down my dreams in a journal. It's a good idea for you if you're going to use it for story writing.

I do not have any dream diary with me. I forget some dreams and I also remember some dreams. It is nice to remember sweet, pleasant dreams, but nobody likes to remember those dreams which are horrible and unpleasant. Perhaps it is good to have a dream diary. I feel that dreams have their significance. Dreams have some connection to real life. After all, dreams are caused by the mind and the mind is very powerful. Sometimes, we may dream of some beautiful place and one day in real life, we may actually come across such a place.
