How pathetic

I went earlier to let my cousins dogs pee and go for a walk (she took them on a 1.5 hour hike so we weren't going far). None pee'd, so I went back just now. I took them for a walk, but none pee'd, so I took them back to her apartment, and maybe 30 minutes later took them outside to pee before leaving. There were a bunch of drunk people walking down the side walk. So I took them out back (this is not forbidden), the other 2 people with dogs in the building go back here. I was wlaking back, when the dogs kept going nuts (all excited and jumping). I noticed a lady in the window with her phone, holding it up like taking pictures. When she noticed, I noticed her she looked the other way, but she had the camera pointed right at me. A bunch of people complain in the building about a dog barking, meanwhile I've sat in the building and it was the people downstairs. They are trying everything to get her gone, I think this is just pathetic that they sit at home and plot this (the two basement apartments are at home 24/7). I know a few people who would do this, but don't consider their screaming kids, or their tv being too loud. This lady in this apartment has at least 1 kid that screams bloody murder from the crack of dawn, to midnight.

They don't, I feel sorry for my cousin. She wants to move because of all her horrible neighbours.

Might be a good idea. Hope she finds a better place for her dogs..

So they are trying to get your cousing gone from the apartments or people are trying to get the one complainer (the one with the phone taking pictures) gone? People have no respect for others when it comes to living in apartments though, always noise for one reason or another. I don't understand why people can't smell their own chit on this.

What's up with your cousin's dogs? You'd think they'd be leaving pee-mail all over the place.

Some people just don't have anything better to do and love to create drama. It really is pathetic. And some people are so caught up with trying to police the people around them that they completely ignore the fact that they also do things wrong just like the people they're trying to rat out.

Years ago I had the same problem. It was not my dog staying with us but my son in laws dog. I think the main problem was that the neigbours/people did not know anything about us, our life since we do not like gossiping, we are not visiting them etc. And while we were tip toeing more and more, afraid to sit outside in our garden, turning on the radio (but at the same time all the noise from the neighbours, their barking fighting dogs, burning trash in their gardens but we never complaining about that) they started complaining more and more. So at a certain point we did what the friend told us to do. We took our right to be there. We started to make noise, put on the radio, had some loud conversations about "us" etc.. and from that moment on the gossiping, problems, complains were over.
