We're now here at the beach, 20 minutes away from our house. So hot! But it is okay because the air is fresh. I love to watch the waves of the beach, so relaxing. I wish I can live here. :) Later if the sun is not that hot we will walk along the sea side. As of now I am roasting barbecue and milkfish, while eating green mango. What a happy life! :) The kids are now swimming but in the pool, I don't allowed them to swim at the beach because it's kinda dirty. Lol and it is much safer if they swim at the pool. For you which do you prefer to swim at the pool or beach?

Swimming is a special sport, as it happens in the water. The power of water will cause you a lot of energy to do swimming, while the soft of water can make your body very comfortable. Here we are far from the sea, so we can not reach the beach but spend time in the pool.

Good to know your house is very near to the beach and you are able to go there more often. It is nice to bring your children to the beach for relaxation. However, it is true that swimming under hot sun is no joke as one will get sun burnt. None of my family members are able to swim except my hubby. But, we have not been to seaside for long period of time. So, enjoy your outing and happy mylotting!

I really don't like water or swimming and I'm misrable at the beach because of the hot hit sand. I normally prefer going to the pool. I can't wait till summer so I can see my kids playing at the pool and for one of them it'll be there first time. I do want to take them to the beach this summer but only if we have the money for it.

what a great feeling. it is awesome to live near the beach because of the fresh air cool breeze and relaxing view but i would not want to walk along the seaside if it is too hot. it is great to walk at sunset. i'd much rather swim in the pool too, most especially for my kid to swim in the pool. it is much safe. In the sea, it is more of an open space, also i think swimming in the sea can cause more sunburn and also as you say it more dirty.

It's a waste of time to be at the beach , when you can't swim because it's dirty. Maybe they can walk a bit father on the beach side so they can find a cleaner place to swim. Wow, barbecue ! I like that, but isn't it tiring if you will go to the beach and do some barbecue?

I prefer to swim at the beach. It makes me feel so itchy when I am at the pool.. nothing can be compared to a beach scenario, just walking on the seaside and feeling the breeze of the wind coming from the ocean, the color of the sea and the brightness of the sky - I love all these.

I like to swim in pools but I would still like the beach better because the scene is great. Besides, not all beach are dirty. People are irresponsible and just don't know how to take care of nature.

I prefer swim in the pool, there are many advantages when I swim in the pool. The water better than sea, safer, the water cool. In my region most of beaches dirty and tend to harmful for people who cannot swim well like me. Have a nice day.

it's good that you have the sea near your home. when the urge to go for a swim strikes, it's not a long journey. while it's true that it is safer to swim in the pool, you should let your kids wear the air filled arm bands designed to make them float in order to avoid accidents, especially if there is no life guard near the pool.

I'd rather go swimming in pool or sea at around 4pm or 5pm when the sun is already setting lol! I can't stand the heat of the sun it really burns my skin. have a great day... I love hotdogs on stick with mallows when we are out for swimming... kiddie foods but I like it!

I'm not a good swimmer, so I'd prefer the pool... I'm afraid of all water activities, especially at beaches... I'm nervous for just being on a boat...

I would prefer the pool. Yes you are right, it's much more safer. I just don't want to step on sea urchins. You can't dodge them every time.
