Hi Mylotters! Recently, I applied one beauty product for my face, and it caused my face itchy and hot. How do you deal with it? I read some Vitamin E or olive oil will work.. But I haven't tried it yet.. I never have face allergy before.. Thanks for sharing..

There are many brands of cosmetics which labelled ' hypoallergenic' that are formulated without the ingredients of (principally perfume) are most likely causing your skin problems. Do consult a dermatologist, who may be able to pinpoint your problem and suggest a more effective product.

Hi Alpha, thank you for responding. :) I never had allergy to any thing before, so I was surprised that I got it from a serum that has "natural" ingredients... But I am ok now.. :) I did natural treatment.. :)

I think it's better to consult a dermatologist for this and stop using the product for now. Our skin in the face is very sensitive and wrong usage of products may cause your allergies to worsen.

Hi Greenthumb, I had stopped using the product. I think it is chemical burn, maybe there's something chemical in that product that bring the allergy. Because pure Vitamin C and E are not causing me allergy.. (after that allergy happen, I use pure lemon juice and vitamin E right from the capsule) Thank you for the response. :)

You should consult your doctor first. Face allergy can be due to several reasons. A change in diet can also lead to allergy. Therefore you would do well to meet your physician and find a good solution.

if you have some skin allergy for chemical products, it will be good to apply some cream on your arms first to test it. you can use olive oil, do not let your face will get dry and if it will not work, then you can go to chemist and they will give you anti allergic lotion. once it happens to me and I used that after few days it became alright.

you should wash your face at once. if you have an antihistmine (cream), apply it on your face so the swelling and the itchiness will go. avoid using the product again. if the allergy persists, you should see your doctor. the next time you purchase a new skin product, do the allery test first. rub a small amount of the product on your skin and wait for a few hours. if the spot becomes red and swollen, don't use the product.

Thank you for the response.. :) I am getting better already. I was so worried about the allergy that I faced, so I looked for natural remedy online.. do some research about it and hope can get my face first aid before going to the doctor.. I washed my face with oatmeal and sugar, and then I applied my night cream which I have been using, and the next morning, the swollen feeling and the redness, itchiness all are gone! Thank God it didn't got worse.. Before washed it with oatmeal, I did some cooling method by softly pressing ice cube on my face to sooth it.. :) I really, really dare not to try another product anymore.. hehehe

What kind of face cream did you applied? Make sure that the brand is the best , but still don't relly on it. Just discontinue using it, don't eat seafood . always stay calm. dont use any other product gone. don't expose to sun or heat .

Actually it is face serum. On the package, it is written that it is the combination of Vitamin C, E, Aha, and Collagen.. I think, I might get allergic with one of those things, or.. It is the chemical ingredients that they put in the product and they didn't mention it.. I don't know for sure.. but it traumatized me already. I looked for natural remedy online and now, I have got better than the first time I got the allergy. Thanks for responding! :)
