I generally used to take rice as my regular food for energy to do work. My children takes milk and bread and roti as their energy needs. My neighbors commonly takes food wheat and corns etc... I have one doubt about taking food of varieties.... What type of food is best suites for our power needs... How many times is preferable to take food for our body needs?.... What we get from our food mostly?....

I learned when I was still studying that eating carbohydrates will give full energy and the best example of carbohydrates are rice, corn, root crops , bread and wheat. Sugar is also example of carbohydrates. For us, to have an energy we must take food five times a day as our stomach digests every two hours.

I just take 3 times a day meals, and i would be fine for rest of the day, unless i have to do some extra job, that's the time i take vitamins and some energy drink. I don't depend on them most of time, i just eat regular meals.

Just take the right diet... I eat also rice so I can stay longer at work. Because I stay home nowadays I always skip breakfast(but I know is not good) but when I have to work outside... I eat heavy breakfast so I can stay longer working and I can think clearly... it is very hard to work when you are hungry or the food that we eat is insufficient for our daily activities and also drink vitamins!

For a balanced meal, there should always be carbohydrates included. So it could be either rice, pasta, bread or corn. That should give you and your kids the energy that you need in a day.

Hi friend, based on some researches, generally each person needs 1500-2000 kkal a day, it depends on the needs of energy of the person. But it is difficult to measure how much calories that we consume from foods every day, so we use the natural sensor, namely our stomach. When we feel hungry that means we need foods to eat, but we have to control amount of foods in our stomach. You should stop to eat before you feel really full, because it is the safe condition for our body. Too much eat will make our stomach discomfort and make you feel sleepy and lazy to work. It is my opinion...friend. i hope it will help you. Have a nice day.

Over the years I have heard so many different ideas on this subject. I think small meals are better for you and eating often, every three or four hours during the day. But not many people can work around this. So it ends up you set up your day to eat when you can and if you have children when you feed them. This sets you free to work when you need to.

In American we would be told that taking rice, milk, bread, or the like would be a bad choice unless you are running a race and need to carb up.

look its not actually how many times you eat in a day but what actually matters is how many calories you eat in a day. it is normally advisable to have small quantities of food for more number of times than having a heavy meal once or twice a day. normally we eat 3 times a day and that is sufficient enough for our body needs. and if you need more energy make sure you eat food that contain more carbohydrates. because it is the carbohydrate which gives you more energy.

we have 3 major meals in a day the breakfast , lunch and dinner. our body completely processed, dissolved and absorbs the food that we eat within 4 hours. therefore we should atleast eat every 4 hours.
