I finally attained the goal of getting my son's cap/gown! I feel bad that it took me so long to get it, but I feel better knowing that I have it done. It's hard to believe school is almost over. He has a banquest later this month. Prom is next month. Then it's over. I will no longer have kids. I will have young adults! Where'd the time go???

Congrats! I have two men for 'children.' I know exactly what you mean. When the oldest started college, I signed up too. Then the youngest joined in and we were all sharing in one more learning experience. Of course, I didn't go to either of the colleges my 'boys' went to. However, it was fun relating to each other through those years and even studying together once in a while (mostly over holidays). So that part of your life is over, but another is beginning as you watch them assume their places in the adult world. Me, I'm looking forward to retirement - hopefully this year. Good luck! And, don't forget that your child(ren) will always be just that, no matter how old they get.

A part of me is looking forward to the next stage in life. I just hope that my job will allow me the time to enjoy it.

Time flies so fast, indeed. But these kids will always remain our babies forever.
