I want to eat fruits and veggies!

A long time ago I had really bad habits of eating unhealthy foods. I would never eat any fruits or vegetables. I would eat a lot of pizza, and different unhealthy foods. Now I eat a lot more salads, fruits, and vegetables. I am also cutting back on soda, and generally drinking mostly water. I feel a lot healthier, and I am starting to look better also. I can notice a difference in my skin, my health, and my weight. Also how I feel.

We can change our eating habits by slowly changing our taste buds wishes. Salds can be made in such a way that they are tasty, besides being healthy. I love pizza. So when I make a big lettuce salad ( can also have spinach, chard, avocado and celery) I top it with homemade croutons. I make them with stale bread fried a bit in olive oil, garlic and dry oregano. Themn I dry them at the oven. THat gives my salads a pizza taste that is wonderful. Try it!

I think most people tend to be more conscious with their health as they age. Just like you, I was also a big fan of unhealthy foods before. But as I grew old I learned to appreciate the benefits from veggies.

Fruits and veggies are no doubt the superior foods on the planet. However, they are often more expensive than meat, and more cultures are geared towards meat rather than veggies. As a result, fruits and veggies aren't always so available. I love most fruits and vegetables though. It's great to hear that you're turning over a new leaf.

Yes they are more expensive but worth it. I am willing to pay a little more because I know they are healthy to eat.

fruit and vegetables give you more protein and much healthier than fast food and also drink water make you feel always young.

Fruits and Vegetables are so good! You can eat a higher volume of food when you eat fruits and vegetables and I LOVE volume :)

This is a good thing that you have changed the way you eat. It will give you a longer and healthier life. I love fruits and veggies and have eaten them all my life. You said you have cut back on soda. If I were you get rid of the soda completely. It is all sugar and that is very unhealthy for you. I drink mostly lemon water all day. Then I will have tea with lemon. It has maintained my weight for a long time now. Its true when they say you are what you eat!

I agree with you. Cutting soda out altogether won't work for me because then I will end up giving up and drink only soda. So I am making small changes. Hopefully one day I will hardly ever drink any soda. I know it is bad for you and full of sugar. I actually want to drink water now rather than soda.
