Himmat-wala box office collection is a huge disappointment(Only for Indians)

New are spreading that Himmatwala has bombed at the box office. It's being regarded as biggest disaster of 2013. The collection has come down by 88.3 percent in its second week. So. it's being even more disaster than Joker.
Have any body seen Himmatwala. Is that too bad to see.

Hi,
I haven't seen new Himmatwala. I have seen Jeetendra and sridevi's Himmatwala. I like this movie at that time and attracted the crowd in theaters. The story and songs are appreciated by the people. Jeetendra and Sreedevi are the stars at that time.

yes i too like the old movie .The actors were superb. Those days actors know the real acting but these days only skin show is given importance rather than performance.

Hello roshigo58, I just saw your profile and found it that you were of our age at that time and you know well than us of that time. Yes, Jeetendra and Sridevi were stars at that time and this type of movies were doing well at that time. Ajay, is too big star today but he has to understand that craps will not work.
Farah Khan and his brother Sajid Khan both have their disasters in the name of Tees Maar Khan and HimmatWala. Overconfident Sajid Khan has been brought down to earth in just a week.

I have not seen Himmatwala. But I am not really surprised by box office results. I have read reviews, seen previews. These days media buys into hype generated by big banner productions and declare a movie hit before it is even released. I think same ole remakes, formula films and promotions using gimmicks like fighting a tiger and turning Ajay into a dancer is not going to work every time.

Good actors are coming and they are even better than yesteryear. But remake of old films will not work every time. Bollywood is short of good directors rather than actors. I think today's actor and actresses are better than previous generation but directors were great of yesteryear than today.

yes i heard the news about the flop. I didnt watch the movie anyways as i dont like the heroin Tammana she acted in many movies in south and i dont watch her movies i dont like her from her firt movie itself.

When you see south movies dubbed in hindi, you may not like many heroines but when they act in bollywood, their acting look great. So if you watch Tammana, you will appreciate his acting talent.
I too don't like Asin acting in South movies dubbed in hindi but in bollywood she look so great.
